Lana Del Rey Shuts Down Plastic Surgery Rumors: “Never Even Been Under The Knife”

Lana Del Rey is setting the record straight about her face and her nose in particular. The Grammy-winning singer, 40, hopped into her own Instagram comments this week after a fan account shared throwbacks from her Lizzy Grant era. When one follower gushed about her “natural nose,” Lana quickly clarified that despite years of speculation, she has never had plastic surgery.
“Still never even been under the knife or anesthesia in my life for the 15th year in a row!!” she wrote.
She explained that what fans may have noticed is the result of a nonsurgical rhinoplasty, a filler-based procedure her doctor once performed that took “seven minutes” and simply built up the bridge of her nose.
Unlike a traditional nose job, the so-called “liquid nose job” uses needles and dermal filler, not scalpels, with results lasting around six months. “Ugh [Lizzy Grant] never went anywhere,” Lana reminded fans, brushing off the idea that she ever disappeared or transformed herself beyond recognition.
This isn’t the only thing she’s been clearing up lately. In a recent W Magazine cover story, the Born to Die singer revealed that her highly anticipated new album, Stove, will drop later than expected, with a release window now set for late January 2026. The project features production from Luke Laird and Jack Antonoff and leans heavily into country influences.
“I’ve always been drawn to the storytelling in country music,” Lana said, adding that she even toyed with releasing a separate record of California-inspired country covers called Country and Western. She admitted she’s particularly obsessed with California Dreamin and Joni Mitchell’s California.
In April, Lana previewed Stove with two singles Bluebird and Henry, Come On, giving fans a taste of the dreamy Americana-meets-country sound she’s leaning into.
