Denise Richards Return
You may remember Denise Richards as the former spouse to Charlie Sheen, but she is more than that. As a former fashion model, Denise was quite the sex symbol in the 90’s. From gracing magazine pages, like Stuff magazine’s “102 Sexiest Women in the World” to playing in movies like, Starship Troopers, Wild Things, and Undercover Brother. Richards has been a Hollywood icon for many years. She’s even made appearances in the CBS soap opera, The Bold and the Beautiful. Not only is she a model, and an actress, but she is even a New York Times Best selling author, releasing her memoir, The Real Girl Next Door in 2011.
In 2008, she took on reality television in her own show, Denise Richards: It’s Complicated that lasted for one year. But her most recent reality television role was a cast member on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills from 2019-2020. Her career spans over 30 years and she is definitely a name that floats around the Hollywood Hills.
Now the rumor mill is speculating that Denise may make a return to the cast of Bravo’s Real Housewives franchise. Even though she didn’t have the best experience being on the show. She was introduced to the group by her friend of over 20 years, Lisa Rinna, who eventually developed a different opinion about Denise. During the show Brandi Glanville (a former Real Housewife) told Kyle Richards and Teddi Mellencamp that she and Denise had slept together while Denise visited the set of a movie. Teddi revealed the rumor at a dinner in Rome and Denise denied it. But Rinna refused to believe the denial because of the evidence stacked against Richards.
The feud dragged on and on in true Real Housewives fashion, ultimately ending Richards and Rinna’s long lasting friendship. Even with all that drama behind her Denise told Jeff Lewis on his SiriusXM show, “Never say never, you know.” In regards to her possible return to the show. No one from Bravo has reached out to Denise officially, but she is still friends with Garcelle Beauvais (a RHOBH cast mate) and she doesn’t care if Lisa Rinna is still on the show.
Denise said, “That is not true. I would be fine with working with Lisa and filming with her. I never said I wouldn’t come back with her. She [Rinna] reached out to me, she sent me a text apologizing. There was a rumor that I never responded but I did respond — I responded right away.”
Richards also said, “I will say this: Lisa Rinna, she plays dirty, she can be really nasty, and so I think that’s just something to know about with her being on the show.”
Although Richards said that her and Rinna would never be able to repair their 20 year friendship, she is willing to sit down with her and have a talk. She added, “I think sometimes, some of the women will apologize when they get backlash. If they do something; that’s something that I’ve noticed. But as far as Lisa, if you apologize — which, she apologized to me while we were actually filming, but then she just went back to the same behavior — so it’s hard for me to actually believe that the apology is genuine.”
I think it’s safe to say, Denise is cautiously optimistic and open to a RHOBH return.
