Kanye West Has Political Aspirations And Has Already Started Making Plans
Kanye West is not demotivated, despite his failed presidential bid in 2022. Now more than ever, he is open to returning to politics and already has solid plans in place for once he wins.
One of the rapper’s plans is to work and cure cancer, which may be due to personal experience since his father battled stomach cancer in 2018. That same year, Kanye, in an interview, mentioned that his father, Ray, was in remission and that he was embarking on a strange and new diet to celebrate his recovery.
And what strange diet might this be? Kanye posted a photo of insects on his Instagram with the caption “Overcome Fear.” He further explained that he and his dad were about to eat the plate full of bugs as a way to celebrate his father beating cancer.
Last Thursday, Kanye was interviewed about his political aspirations, and he mentioned that his win in 2020 was not yet in God’s time, but he’s sure that because of his loss, some lives were saved. He told ABC News, “I’m sure God had me fall on the sword and say this is not the time.”
He further said, “But he’s a redeemer. He’s given me this oxygen, and he’s given me this platform; he’s put amazing people around me. He’s given me new purposes—a new lease on life. New air to breathe. And new respect.”
Kanye also mentioned that he has been spending more time with Jared Kushner. The relationship between the two is purely genuine friendship. It is in no way a political move because, as a matter of fact, Jared is discouraging him from attempting to go back to the White House.
Kanye is meeting and spending time with many politicians, one being the mayor of Miami, Francis Suarez. The ex-husband of Kim Kardashian mentioned that the current mayor would also make a good president.
During the same ABC News interview, Kanye was asked what his thoughts were about social media and if it was something helpful or harmful to him. Kanye acknowledged the question and said it was one of his favorite questions during the interview.
His answer to the question was, “It’s all about how we use it.” He further cited an example with a car. Kanye stated that a car could be used to transport someone to the hospital, but that same car could also be used to accidentally hit somebody while you are rushing that person to the hospital.
Kanye was also asked about his parenting style and what it’s like to co-parent with his ex-wife Kim Kardashian. Note that the rapper shares four children with the reality TV star, daughters North, 9, and Chicago, 4, and sons Saint, 6, and Psalm, 3.
The father answered that he has a voice, and there are certain things he disagrees with as a dad and as a Christian, and he believes that he has a right to voice out his say when it comes to what the kids are wearing, watching, and eating.
The comment was somehow related to Kim, railroading him when selecting a school for the children. This incident further prompted Kanye to compare himself to a sperm donor, saying that he had been left without a say and that if it were up to him, his children would go to his school, the Donda Academy. This school was established in honor of his mother, unlike the expensive private school in Los Angeles that Kim chose.
Kanye mentioned during the interview that people were approaching him and asking him if he was okay, and he said that he was—for the time being.
He also said that the situation with his children was similar to the situation at Adidas, where he was disregarded for something he created.
