New Celebrity Business Mogul Jennifer Garner Celebrates Her Success And Millions
Jennifer Garner follows the footsteps of fellow Hollywood actresses Jessica Alba and Gwyneth Paltrow when finding success as a businesswoman.
She is the Chief Brand Officer and Co-founder of her nature-based company, Once Upon a Farm. Last Thursday, she joined the 8th Annual Innovation Festival of Fast Company in New York City. She was happy and proud to share that the company had grown significantly.
She stated that when she was last in attendance at the Fast Company’s 8th annual Innovation Festival, their organization was at less than a million a year. Still, by the end of 2022, the projected growth is at 100 million dollars.
Last March, the company announced closing $52 million in Series D funding. Today, the brand has more than 11,000 retail stores spread across North America, and there’s no stopping it. Thanks to its strong direct-to-consumer and e-commerce platform, Once Upon a Farm’s growth is expected to double in 2022 based on its current product portfolio.
The company has many products, including baby foods and school snacks for children. The Alias actress was candid about US baby food being at par with Europe’s more extensive products.
Jennifer explained her involvement with the company during the Tiny Taste Buds: Delighting and Sustaining the Next Generation panel. Being a working mother of three, she has experienced how tiring making food for kids can be, especially after a long day’s work.
She stated that Once Upon a Farm was a game changer and day-saver for all mothers, especially first-time ones. She also shared her two cents on why it is critical for American baby food to be as good as its European counterparts.
She stated that European babies are not the only ones who can get the good stuff because even American babies deserve their veggies and to snack on food that isn’t loaded with sugar. Kids in the US shouldn’t be exposed to heavy metals and plastics.
Fast Company’s Annual Innovation Festival is an avenue “convening thousands of makers and innovators from across the globe” and “exceptional leaders and doers shaping the future.” Other stars spotted at the festival included Jamie Lee Curtis and Priyanka Chopra Jonas.
Jennifer and co-founder John Foraker started the company in 2017. Their primary focus was to create food only using the freshest ingredients and avoiding artificial flavoring and additional and unnecessary sugar.
When the actress spoke to Forbes, she said she could relate to mums wanting the best for their children. She further explained that all mothers make that promise automatically when a child comes into the picture and that every child deserves everything good.
Once Upon a Farm’s website states that a portion of the ingredients, specifically the fruits and vegetables that are used in manufacturing the baby foods, are grown on the actress’ family farm in Oklahoma.
With children as the main focus, the company is also in partnership with Save the Children, an organization to help improve the lives of children around the globe.
