Britney Spears Rants on Twitter Amidst Claims of Her Father Trying to Kill Her
In an emotional outburst last Monday, Britney Spears took to Twitter to say how she felt like her father, Jamie Spears, was trying to kill her. The singer shared how she hopes her father “burns in hell”.
The Grammy-winning singer targeted her father who led the entertainer’s 13-year conservatorship in her Twitter rant.
According to Britney, she was subjected to various MRIs and was then admitted to a treatment facility. These events all happened during the early days of her conservatorship.
Britney mentioned that she couldn’t do anything but go to the treatment center. She was not complaining then, given that everything was decided by her father. She did not have any rights over her life at all.
The newly freed Britney recalled that the MRIs she was subjected to were frequent and she remembered undergoing one when she was only eight years old. The singer also reminisced how she was once inside a tight MRI machine for half an hour when she was just a child. In another instance when the conservatorship was already in place, she was again in an MRI for an hour.
The younger Britney didn’t understand what was going on. At one point, the singer even thought that she was being examined for cancer and that the team of medical professionals was keeping it a secret from her.
The Princess of Pop further shared her sentiments in several tweets that people who were part of the abuse she suffered were left off the hook. None of them faced any legal repercussions for their actions.
After 15 years of manipulation and maltreatment, Britney clearly cannot easily accept that it ended with no punishment for her abusers.
Britney also shared what she has in mind as a suitable punishment for her father. She said she would want her father to be taken to a place away from home without his car and then subjected to questions all week from 8 AM until 6 PM. She would like her father to experience what it feels like to be a science experiment where all his food is monitored, and he is watched while he performs his personal care routine.
Sadly, the singer believes that cruelty in the world wins based on her traumatic past.
