Bachelor Nation’s Madison Prewett Marries Boyfriend After Less Than One Year Of Dating
The Bachelor alum Madison Prewett married Grant Troutt, a former college basketball star and the son of billionaire investor Kenny Troutt.
The ceremony took place at Troutt’s parent’s Texas Home on 29th October. The couple shared their special day with 400 guests, including family and friends.
Taking to Instagram, Madison captioned her wedding pics, “It’s like heaven knew I needed you. 10.29.22.”
In her interview with People Magazine, Prewett said that deciding the wedding location was important for them.
The 26-year-old said, “We chose this location because it’s unique and special to us and having all our friends and family there means so much.” She also said, “I have always wanted to get married in the fall, and we wanted a short engagement, so it couldn’t be more perfect.”
Prewett and Trout decided to get engaged after just eight months of dating, and the wedding took place three months later.
In a past interview with Amazon Live, when talking about her whirlwind engagement, Prewett said, “That day literally changed our lives,” she also added, “And some people think [eight months is] short but you know, honestly when you know you know.”
During the same interview, she added that they had decided to save intimacy for after marriage and, in light of that, sped up their engagement.
Prewett was part of The Bachelor, the twenty-fourth season starring Peter Weber, where she was a runner-up. Later, she did connect with Peter, but that did not last long.
Ever since, Prewett has been gushing over Grant. Posting pics on Instagram for their 5-months together, Prewett wrote, “The past 5 months have been the best and wildest adventure. Full of highs and lows, but there’s nobody else in the world I’d rather do life with.”
Prevett held a bridal lunch on Friday and a rehearsal dinner with Trout the same evening for family and friends.
Prevett’s off-shoulder gown was custom designed by Nardos. She walked down the aisle to “When God Made You,” by NewSong. Nardos also created all her wedding weekend looks.
And as Prewett wanted her wedding to be unique, she borrowed the same florist as Gates Gottschalk, Something Pretty Floral, making her reception a flood of flowers.
The reception also included a live band and a towering white and gold cake by Fancy Cakes by Lauren. Prevett was very particular about her wedding cake. She said, “I wanted our wedding cake to be the centerpiece of our reception. I chose to keep it all white with gold details.”
The grand wedding would not have come out so perfectly if not for the love and support of the couple’s families. When talking about both their families, Prevett said, “Truly, none of this would have been possible without the support of our families.” She added, “They mean the world to us, and we feel so grateful for all of their help during this time!”
The wedding party featured six groomsmen, six bridesmaids, and two maids of honor.
Posting a reel of her big day, Prevett took to Instagram and captioned it, “Yesterday was the best day of our lives.”
For their honeymoon, the couple will be spending a week in Mexico.
