Gwen Stefani Calls Her Relationship With Blake Shelton A Miracle
Music artists and songwriters always have a way of making words and music come together. Still, Gwen Stefani’s new way of describing her relationship with Blake Shelton is a sincere expression of her love.
The singer shared that before meeting Blake, she never thought she would be in a relationship or falling in love again—after splitting from Gavin Rossdale in 2015. Gavin is the father of Gwen’s three children.
Aside from not believing that she would ever be in a relationship again, the No Doubt frontwoman never imagined kissing another man aside from her ex-husband. This was her comment in her interview on The Drew Barrymore Show. Then again, no one knows what will happen in the future.
The 53-year-old singer then met the 46-year-old country music crooner Blake Shelton, and she experienced her miracle. She fell in love with the country music star and genuinely felt their match was made in heaven, as clichéd as it sounds.
The Don’t Speak singer stated that God intervened and brought them together.
When Drew mentioned that the couple would soon celebrate their second anniversary, Gwen further emphasized that their relationship was her miracle, as she had been off guard and not expected to meet and fall for someone again.
The blonde beauty shared her routine with Drew, stating that she would wake up, have coffee, take care of her kids, and then call it a day. She mentioned kissing anyone was not part of her day-to-day routine after her divorce. She also honestly admitted that before, she thought that her life was over, and then out of the blue, Blake Shelton came and introduced himself.
The two singers initially met in 2014 on The Voice, and their romantic relationship began shortly after she split with Gavin.
Gwen further elaborated on her love story, stating that aside from finding Blake as a worthy partner, she was also able to find a best friend in him. He shared the same principles with Gwen, especially in terms of morals and their general perspective on life.
This was another miracle for Gwen because she admitted that people do not easily find a romantic relationship and friendship with the same person. Gwen stated that despite sharing the same morals in life, they are still two different people with their individuality intact.
In a topic unrelated to their relationship, Gwen mentioned that despite being one of the favorite coaches in The Voice, she doubts she’ll get a chair turn if she auditions for the show. She acknowledged that several really talented and technically gifted people were auditioning for the show.
As for Blake, he excited all his fans when he posted a photo of a recording studio adorned with Christmas decorations on his Instagram last Wednesday.
He captioned the image stating that it was again that time of the year. This sent his followers into a frenzy, speculating that a new Christmas album may be released soon.
