Kelly Osbourne Says She Is Not Ready To Share Newborn With The World After Mom Sharon Dished On Him
Kelly Osbourne was not pleased with her mother, Sharon, after the older woman not only confirmed to the public that she had given birth but also went ahead to reveal her son’s name.
The TV star posted a stern statement on her Instagram story, saying that she was not ready to share her newborn with the world. “I am not ready to share him with the world. It is no one’s place but mine to share any information about my baby,” she wrote.
Kelly reportedly welcomed her first child with boyfriend Sid Wilson, aka DJ Sid, in November. As she did not confirm the birth of the child, the public only guessed from pictures of her seen later that month. In those pictures, she did not spot a baby bump, leading many to believe she must have had her baby.
In a series of pictures shared by Daily Mail, Kelly was seen leaving a baby store where she appeared to have purchased a silver baby bathtub.
Despite her silence on the matter, the 38-year-old’s mother broke the news during an appearance on Talk TV. Sharon revealed on the show that Kelly and DJ Sid had chosen to name their little boy “Sydney.”
Hence, Kelly was forced to give official confirmation of her son’s arrival on Wednesday.
When asked by co-host JJ Anisiobi whether she assists in looking after the newborn, Sharon responded, “Yes.” The X Factor judge also said that the couple is doing great in caring for the child.
“They’re doing just so great. So great. She won’t let a picture go out of him and I’m so proud of her,” she gushed.
Kelly was not so reluctant to share news of her pregnancy with her fans. She had taken to social media to announce that she was pregnant in May.
“I know that I have been very quiet these past few months so I thought I would share with you all as to why,” she stated at the beginning of her speech on Instagram. “I am over the moon to announce that I am going to be a Mumma. To say that I am happy does not quite cut it. I am ecstatic!” she revealed.
Alongside her big news, Kelly shared two pictures in which she can be seen relaxing by a pool while looking at her sonogram pictures.
