Britney Spears Responds To “Manic Episode” Rumors With Her Middle Finger Up In A New Instagram Video
Britney Spears’s response to the public “manic episode” rumor that’s been circulating the internet was sharing a video of herself on Instagram, as she flips and throws her middle finger up.
In the video, the Pop princess is seen dancing in front of the camera as she throws her middle finger up several times while I Touch Myself by Divinyls plays in the background.
On Friday, TMZ reported that Britney, 41, suffered a mental episode publicly at a local LA restaurant, which led her husband, Sam Asghari, 28, who was also present at the restaurant, to have allegedly walked out on the star.
In the video she shared on her Instagram page, the pop star is seen dressed in a form-fitting, strapless white mini dress with yellow stripes embroidered throughout the fabric. Britney paired the outfit with white, knee-length boots while her long, blonde locks fell down her shoulders as the singer flipped her hair from side to side.
The You Drive Me Crazy singer added an extra touch to her outfit with a dainty silver necklace and a bracelet on her left wrist.
The video begins with Britney brightly flashing a smile on camera, volumizing her hair, and showing off some dance moves to the Divinyls’ song playing in the background. Shortly afterward, she gradually retreats off camera, placing her hand in front of the lens while she throws her middle finger up. Again, the singer returns on camera as she continues to dance, making the heart sign with her hands, dancing, smiling, and flipping off the camera a few more times before the video ends.
The Instagram video, which was shared a while after the rumors of her public “manic episode” at Joey (a Woodland Hills restaurant), could be Britney’s candid response to online attention the news has generated.
TMZ reported that the pop star was triggered by the unwarranted photos and videos of herself that had been taken by the patrons at the LA eatery. Footage from the eatery shows the Grammy winner trying to cover her face with a menu to curb the cameras that were being thrown at her.
Eyewitnesses at the eatery alleged that Britney became upset and started “yelling” and speaking gibberish, which prompted her husband, Sam, to leave the restaurant. The singer left the venue a while later, and her bodyguard returned to pay the bill.
Adding to Britney’s reactionary Instagram video, her husband Sam has shared a few thoughts on his Instagram story, saying, “Don’t believe what you read online people.”
