Beyoncé Stuns In Yellow Gown As She Delivers Exclusive Live Performance At The Royal Hotel Opening In Dubai
Beyoncé was present in Dubai this weekend, delivering her first live performance in almost five years. The event was at the opening of the Atlantis The Royal Grand hotel in Dubai on Saturday.
It was a guest-only event that saw many celebrities like Kendall Jenner, Ellen Pompeo, and her husband, Hailey Bailey, Nia Long, and many more celebrities present. Beyoncé started the grand performance by appearing in an elaborate yellow-corseted dress with a pair of yellow clip-on feather wings. She opened with a cover of Etta James’ At Last before performing some of her hit songs.
The attendees at the luxury event enjoyed Beyoncé’s powerful rendition of some of her hit songs like Naughty Girl, Crazy in Love, Halo, Spirit & Freedom. The private Dubai live performance is the first performance of the Grammy-award-winning artist since her last headlined show.
TMZ reported that the talented artist was paid $24 million for the performance at the luxury resort, an invitation-only concert. To not affect the exclusivity of the show, guests were banned from recording, and all attendees were forced to put their phones in locked zip bags ahead of the show.
TMZ noted that the live feed stream capturing the sound checks in rehearsal was also cut off once the show started. Yet, people could still record and stream the exclusive live performance.
Beyoncè was not in Dubai alone, as she was present with her family. Her husband, Jay Z, 53, was spotted near the Atlantis, and her daughter, Blue Ivy, later went up the stage to stand beside her and dance while Beyoncé performed Brown Skin Girl.
Despite performing a wide array of songs, Beyoncé didn’t perform any songs from her Grammy-nominated album, Renaissance. Many fans believe the artist might be saving that for the 2023 Grammy awards night. The multi-talented and award-winning artist played a huge part in the “Grand Reveal” of the Atlantis Resort in Dubai, which will open next month.
Guests present were treated to dinners prepared by world-class chefs like Jose Andres, Nobu Matsuhisa, and Mich Turner.
Apart from the Grammy awards coming up in February, fans also expect to see her in October, when it was earlier announced she will be attending the fifth annual Wearable Art Gala. Before then, fans are equally excited about the rumored upcoming tour for her seventh studio album, Renaissance, even though dates are yet to be announced.
