Kim Kardashian Fulfills “Bucket List Dream” Of Giving Lecture At Harvard Business School
Kim Kardashian was at Harvard Business School on Friday, January 20. It appears that her visit was to deliver a guest lecture session to the students at Harvard Business School.
The guest lecture was in collaboration with her business partner and SKIMS CEO, Jens Grede(Emma Grede’s husband). Kim and Jens, who co-founded SKIMS with her in 2019, both gave a lecture about SKIMS marketing strategy, challenges, and business wins.
In a post shared hours later on her Instagram page, the lawyer and reality TV star said: “I spoke At Harvard Business School yesterday for a class called HBS Moving Beyond DTC. The class’s assignment was to learn about @skims, so my partner Jens and I spoke about our marketing, our challenges, and our greatest wins. I’m so proud of Skims, and the thought that it is a course being studied at Harvard is just crazy!!! Thank you, professor Len Schlesinger and @harvardhbs, for having us. #BucketListDream.”
The reality TV star was dressed in a black pin-striped suit and long, black leather coat. The picture carousel also included a group picture with the students present in the class.
Speaking to NBC 10 Boston, a Harvard Business School student who was present at her recent lecture told the outlet, “just to learn from someone who has built such a successful business was really exciting…and I think having the privacy of no cameras in the room, being able to have that candid conversation was special too.”
The reality TV star is said to be having her Elle Woods moment both in the legal and business field. In 2021, Kim shared that she had passed her “baby bar” finals after three attempts. She tweeted: “OMFGGGG I PASSED THE BABY BAR EXAM!!!! Looking in the mirror, I am really proud of the woman looking back today in the reflection. For anyone who doesn’t know my law school journey, know this wasn’t easy or handed to me.”
The entrepreneur, lawyer, model, and mother of four equally own the Elle Woods’ narrative. In 2019, she dressed as Reese Witherspoon’s Elle Woods from Legally Blonde to recreate her Harvard Law School admissions video.
However, Kim’s recent visit to Harvard Business School is not her first. In 2013, she accompanied her then-fiancé (now her ex-husband), Kanye West, to Harvard, where he delivered a lecture at the Harvard Graduate School of Design as part of the “DONDA Design Lecture Series.”
