Kim Kardashian’s Children, North And Saint West Land Their Debut Movie Roles
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s North, 9 and Saint, 7 have landed their first-ever movie roles, bringing them to the big screen soon.
The news was made public on the Paw Patrol Instagram page, where North and Saint will be voiceover actors for the upcoming Paw Patrol: The Mighty Movie. This role marks the kids’ first-ever movie role, even though they’ve both appeared on several episodes of their family reality TV shows, Keeping Up With the Kardashian and The Kardashians.
The two oldest children of Kim and Kanye are not the only ones in their family that will be featured in the movie. Kim is also returning to join an all-star cast that includes Yara Shahidi, Marsai Martin, Taraji P. Henson, Kristen Bell, and many others, as she will be voicing the character Delores.
This is far from Kim’s debut movie role as the reality TV star has previously made appearances in shows like How I Met Your Mother and 2 Broke Girls, and in movies like The Diary of a Mad Black Woman, Ocean’s Eight, and Brothers.
Kim’s kids, on the other hand, have proven to love the camera, from their family reality TV shows they’ve appeared in, to their TikTok videos with millions of views. It does seem like they will have no challenge playing their roles in front of the camera.
The movie is a sequel to the 2021 animated feature PAW Patrol: The Movie based on the TV series. The film focuses on a boy, Ryder, and his six pups who are called to Adventure City by another pup named Liberty to save the city from a Mayor after he planned to destroy it.
The sequel, which Kim’s kids and Kim will be part of, focuses on a meteor that crashes into Adventure City, causing all the puppies to gain superpowers and transform into Mighty pups. Kim’s kids have all been fans of the series, including the 2021 movie, and now, they can play a part in their favorite series. Saint’s part is only a cameo, while North will be voicing one of the three puppies.
Since the announcement was made public, it has brought up the conversation about “nepo babies” — a term that became popular last year following a New York Magazine article that dissected the height of nepotism within Hollywood.
However, the movie will be hitting theaters in the US on October 13, 2023.
