Leonardo DiCaprio Distances Rumored 19-Year-Old Girlfriend As She Arrives New York Alone
On Tuesday, Eden Polani was spotted arriving in New York alone as she carried her luggage through JFK Airport, following the ongoing rumor that she’s dating actor Leonardo DiCaprio.
The rumor about the Titanic star’s supposed relationship with Eden began after they were spotted at Ebony Riley’s new EP release party in Los Angeles. Leo, 48, was photographed sitting next to Eden, 19, and the photos have since sparked Twitter backlash against the actor.
At the party, the Romeo and Juliet actor is seen dressed in a casual black-on-black outfit, accessorized with a baseball hat. Eden, on the other hand, sat up close to him, dressed in a white blouse and gray pinstripe suit.
The social media outburst began when people learned about the 29 years age gap between the actor and the Paris-born model, who has now deactivated her Instagram. Eden, born in Paris to a French mother and an Israeli father, currently lives in Los Angeles and is signed with several modeling agencies like IT Models and Kult Models in Germany.
Following social media reactions, a source close to Leo has claimed that both parties are not dating. Speaking to DailyMail, the insider told the outlet, “They were seated next to each other at a music-listening party. There were a number of people at that event.”
Although the source insists that The Wolf of Wall Street actor is not dating the 19-year-old model, DailyMail’s report states that “they did not comment on whether there had ever been any romantic connection between the two.”
Many are moved to believe the ongoing dating controversy surrounding the Oscar-winning actor because there’s been a pattern to his love life. Leo has maintained a relationship history of only getting involved with women 25 years and below, except for his brief date in 2022 with Gigi Hadid, 27. His longest relationship was with Danish model Camila Morrone, which ended after she hit 25 in 2022.
As such, the news that Leo might have gotten together with someone 29 years younger than him caused a serious uproar. One tweet likened the rumored dating to the faux father-daughter dynamic between Pedro Pascal, 47, and Bella Ramsey, 19, in the apocalyptic drama The Last of Us.Another tweet pointed out that she wasn’t even born when Titanic was released in 1997. In December, the Once Upon a Time in Hollywood actor started dating Victoria Lamas, 23, who was “very smitten.” However, recent reports note that although both spent New Year’s eve together, they’ve not been seen in public ever since.
