Jennifer Lopez And Her Husband, Ben Affleck, Get Matching Tattoos To Mark First Valentine’s Day As Married Couple
Jennifer Lopez and hubby Ben Affleck were one of the couples who served couple goals this Valentines.
Jennifer, 58, shared on her Instagram page how she and Ben, 50, marked their very first Valentine’s Day as a married couple. To celebrate their love, the couple got matching tattoos.
In the series of photos shared by Jlo, the The Boy Next Door actress was seen showing off her new infinity sign tattoo that had “Jennifer” and “Ben” engraved in cursives across an arrow that goes through the sign.
Another image reveals Ben’s tattoo, which has two arrows crossing each other with the initials “J” and “B” engraved on both ends of the arrows.
In the post’s caption, the Grammy-winning superstar writes, “Happy Valentine’s Day, my love [inserts heart emoji].”
The actress also hinted that “more deets on VDay” will be “coming #OnTheJlo soon,” referring to her tell-all newsletter. Jlo also added hashtags to the post saying “#CommitmentIsSexy #ThisIsUsThen #ThisIsUsNow #ThisIsMeNow.”
Alongside the tattoo pictures, Jlo included some of the couple’s old pictures from when they were together in the early 2000s. She also added a picture of her and the Oscar-winning actor recreating an iconic scene from her 2002 music video, Jenny from the Block. In the picture, Ben is holding his wife’s bikini pants while she smiles.
Hours after revealing the matching tattoos, the two would later go on a romantic dinner date.
The couple’s marriage is currently seven months old, following their spur-of-the-moment decision to get married in Las Vegas on July 16, 2022, after revealing their engagement in April 2022.
Jlo and Ben have had a fairytale-like romance that has spanned over 20 years, with the couple ending their first engagement in 2003 and finding their way back to each other 18 years later, after marrying and having kids with others.
Following their long-time-coming marriage, the Marry Me star, who has been gushing over her man ever since, wrote a heartfelt message to him: “The truth is everyone’s story is different, and we all have our paths to travel. No two people are the same. But for us, this was perfect timing. Nothing ever felt more right to me, and I knew we were finally ‘settling down’ in a way you can only do when you understand loss and joy.”
Equally marking their newly married life, the couple recently purchased a $34.5 million “Hamptons-style traditional” home with seven bedrooms, 13 bathrooms, a screening room, a gym, a pool, a wine cellar, a health spa, a jacuzzi, an outdoor kitchen, and a “sun-filled dining room with fireplace.” This is where they’ll continue raising and making memories with their blended family.
