Sharelle Rosado, “Selling Tampa” Star, Says Yes To Retired NFL Player Chad Johnson
After a long period of referring to each other as their “fiance,” the “Selling Tampa” star and the retired NFL athlete finally made their engagement official this Saturday.
After the engagement, which took place in the presence of a few friends and family, Sharelle Rosado, 35, told People that “this is the next step of our beautiful journey together.” As it appears, the couple who have been dating for a long while are taking their relationship further to the altar.
The surprise engagement took place in Miami when the 44-year-old retired NFL player took Sharelle out on the guise of an early birthday party (his birthday being Monday), where he surprised his long-time girlfriend — whom he welcomed a daughter with in January 2022(Serenity) — with a marriage proposal.
The proposal was witnessed by 20 guests, comprised of family and friends, present to witness the couple’s special moment and celebrate the moment Sharelle Rosado said “yes” to her boyfriend.
Talking further with People, Sharelle says, “I’m honestly shocked! I’m at a loss for words. This was absolutely beautiful, and seeing my family and friends here to celebrate our love really did it for me.”
In November 2020, Sharelle Rosado and Ocho Cinco made their relationship public on Instagram. The former American football wide receiver shared a photo of him and his now fiance and captioned it, “the Jags may have lost the game today, but my baby is leaving a Winner [inserting romantic love emoji].”
It was previously rumored that the pair got engaged in January 2021 when Sharelle shared a photo of her and Ocho Cinco, saying, “there are not enough days in forever to allow me to fully express the depth of my love for you @ochocinco.”
During an episode on the “I Am Athlete” podcast, the Netflix personality revealed that she first approached Ocho Cinco before they started dating. “I slid in his DMs. We used to tell—the joke was, we met on Christian Mingle, but I actually slid in his DMs.”
The realtor recalled in the podcast that it took the retired NFL star only two seconds to respond, and they exchanged numbers.
Following their 2-days old engagement, the realtor and Netflix star have taken to Instagram to officially wish her now fiance a happy birthday saying, “let’s all wish my baby a Happy Birthday [inserts love emjoi].”
The NFL star also left a comment on the engagement video Sharelle shared, saying, “you said if we get married, you’d give me a Cheeseburger to go with my French fry & hunny you gone have to stand on that [inserts sassy tone emoji].”
