Khloe Kardashian Stirs Up Controversy After Calling Baby Daddy Tristan Thompson “Best Father”
Khloe Kardashian came under fire on Monday after she praised her ex and baby daddy Tristan Thompson’s parenting skills and labeled him a great father.
The TV personality had sent a birthday wish to Tristan on her Instagram page, wishing him a happy 32nd birthday. In the post that shared photos of the NBA star spending time with their daughter True and their new baby boy, she called Tristan the “best father.”
“Happy birthday @realtristan13. You are truly the best father, brother & uncle. Your love, attention, silly dances, hugs, carpool rides, bed time rituals, the way u show up for them. All of the above means more than you’ll ever know to your family of littles,” the caption began.
The 38-year-old went on to wish Tristan healing and transformation, a message that seems like a reference to his numerous infidelities.
In her words: “My birthday wish for u is that u continue to crave change, healing, and transformation. Be strong, be kind, be patient, be free. Continue to Make your soul and your mommy proud. Happy birthday baby daddy.”
However, social media users disagree with the title based on reports of how Tristan has ignored his one-year-old son born of a hotel fling. Tristan fathered a baby named Theo in December 2021 with Maralee Nichols, promoting a breakup of his relationship with Khloe.
However, Tristan appears to not have any relationship with Theo, forming a basis for the outcry that resulted from Khloe’s post.
“@khloekardashian how can Tristan be the best father if he has abandoned one of his children?!” a Twitter user asked.
“Good father? What about little Theo?” another user asked.
Another Twitter user chose to accompany her criticism with some advice. “Khloe Kardashian. You better turn them comments off on your Insta post about Tristan being a good dad. You forgot about that new baby huh!!?? He hasn’t even met that one!!” the tweet reads.
Khloe did turn off her comments, but Twitter users who can’t be stopped have continued to question the mum-of-two’s rating of Tristan as a good father.
“@khloekardashian Tristan isn’t a good father. He has another kid that he hasn’t even met yet. Please be foreal. You’re out of touch,” another person wrote.
“I can’t believe Khloe called Tristan’ the best father ever’ and posted most his kids like he’s not actively neglecting his other son…bitches are really shameless,” a lady tweeted.
In Khloe’s post, she also showed off her baby boy’s face for the first time as some of the slides displayed his face. The boy’s name, however, remains yet to be known.
