NBA Star Tristan Thompson Hopeful for Rekindled Relationship with Khloe Kardashian
Tristan Thompson has not completely given up hope on Khloe Kardashian as he is seeking a reconnection.
The NBA star recently purchased a $12.5 million compound on Khloe’s block in Hidden Hills, putting him two houses away from her. Now, an insider is claiming that Tristan is truly optimistic about rekindling his five-year on-off relationship with the reality star, despite her making it clear that she does not want to be romantically involved with him.
The exes share a four-year-old daughter named True, and a son born last July. The don was conceived via surrogate while they were on a break due to Tristan fathering a child with another woman.
Despite the rocky history of their relationship, Tristan is said to be happy about having his own place so close to Khloe and their kids, hoping to visit them as often as possible. The source, speaking to US Weekly concluded that Tristan’s priority is being the best father to their children and showing Khloe over time that he is there for their family.
Despite Khloe’s claims of not wanting any romantic involvement with Tristan, the insider reported that she is still pining for him and that they will always be in each other’s lives because of their children.
Recently, Khloe appeared on The Jennifer Hudson Show, confirming that she is currently single and has not yet joined any dating apps. However, she revealed that her sister Kim loves to set her up on dates, while adding that she doesn’t do the same as she doesn’t want anyone to blame her for anything in case things go wrong.
The couple has split multiple times due to Tristan’s cheating ways, and their newest addition was born amidst a scandal. Tristan had impregnated another woman, Maralee Nichols, and was informed of her pregnancy as early as July 2021. Despite knowing about the pregnancy, he encouraged Khloe to continue their surrogacy plan, leading her to conceive their son just one week before the news about Maralee’s pregnancy broke.
Tristan confirmed that he was the father of Maralee’s baby in January 2022 and issued an apology to Khloe. “Sorry” would however not be enough for Khloe this time as she unleashed a furious tirade against Tristan in the season one finale of The Kardashians, aired in June 2022, after learning about Tristan and Maralee’s baby.
“It’s a joke, it’s gross, it’s a joke, it’s embarrassing, it’s disgusting, we’re all over it. I’m like, I didn’t buy tickets to this f***ing circus but somehow I’m watching all these clowns act out in front of me,’ she stated, referring to the shocking discovery that Tristan had admitted to fathering a child in court papers. She had only learnt about it when Kim read a report on the situation on Daily Mail, putting her on the same level with the rest of the world who also learnt about the pregnancy via the media.
