Britney Spears Addresses Marriage Rumors and Body Shaming in New Instagram Post
Pop icon Britney Spears has put an end to rumors surrounding her marriage to Sam Asghari in a new Instagram video posted on Monday. The singer was recently spotted without her wedding ring while on a trip to Hawaii, fueling rumors of trouble between the couple. However, in the video, Britney can be seen wearing her wedding ring and mentioning a recent incident where Sam helped her when her car broke down.
“Woke up this morning and my skin is so dry !!! After visiting a couple of exotic locations recently, I have to coat my body in lotion at night !!! It’s so beautiful out and I want to get out more,” she stated.
Addressing recent concerns about her body image, Britney also revealed that she was body shamed by a personal trainer who she had hired to help her with her fitness journey. She spoke about the incident in her lengthy Instagram caption, saying that the trainer pinched the skin on her stomach and legs and told her to get her younger body back.
In her words: “By no means am I saying my body is perfect but I took the time 2 months ago to find a trainer and the first thing she did to me was literally … and I’m not even lying … pinch the skin on my stomach and legs and told me I need to get my younger body back.”
Britney revealed that the incident made her cry and she decided to stop working with the trainer.
In the video, Britney dances around in a crop top and shorts, showing off her toned body. She mentions that she hates working out for too long and now works out on her own for 45 minutes three times per week. Britney admitted that her body is not perfect, but she wanted to share what it looks like at the moment and that she has been working hard to maintain it.
The video and caption come after rumors surfaced that Britney and Sam were having marriage problems, with both of them being spotted without their wedding rings on. However, a representative for Sam denied the rumors, saying that he simply took off his ring because he is currently filming a movie.
Britney and Sam have been together since 2016 and got engaged in September 2021. The couple has been supportive of each other’s careers and personal lives, with Sam helping Britney during her conservatorship battle.
