Olivia Wilde Calls Out Emily Ratajkowski For Commenting On Harry Styles Kiss
Olivia Wilde has reportedly spoken out against model Emily Ratajkowski after she commented on the passionate kiss between the model and Olivia’s ex-partner, Harry Styles. Emily told Vogue Spain that she felt sorry for Olivia in the wake of the public display of affection. However, a source close to the situation told Daily Mail that Olivia was furious about Emily’s comments and felt betrayed by the model’s actions.
The source claims that Olivia believes that Emily “broke girl code” by making out with Harry, particularly in such a public manner. Olivia has not spoken to Emily since the incident, and the insider suggests that the actress wants Emily to “keep her name out of her mouth.”
While Emily denied reports of a confrontation with Olivia, the insider says that the Conversations With Other Women actress believes that Emily “betrayed her.” The two women had previously been seen hanging out at the Oscars in March, weeks before Emily was caught kissing Harry in Japan.
“Emily’s statement about not having it out with Olivia after she was photographed making out with Harry last month in Japan is correct. They have not had any confrontation because Olivia has not spoken to Emily since then. She betrayed her and broke girl code,” the source stated.
Taking offense with Emily’s claims that she “feels bad” for Olivia, the insider says, “Emily shouldn’t feel bad for Olivia. She should reexamine her dating life and the men she chooses to go out with. Emily should really just focus on being a mom.”
The kissing incident which has caused a rift between the two women comes months after Olivia and Harry ended their two-year relationship. The two had sparked romance rumors after they met on the set of Don’t Worry Darling in 2020. They gave fans a swell time with their romance until they announced their separation in November 2021.
While the As It Was singer has not commented on his rumored relationship with Emily, their public kiss cemented speculations on the media of a romance brewing. In her interview with Vogue Spain, the model said she did not expect to face accusations of breaking the girl code after the kiss.
“I didn’t expect this to happen, but I think, in general, there’s a reason certain celebrities live in LA, hire security, don’t go to public restaurants,” she stated.
While Olivia is said to be focused on her career and her children and does not want to be “dragged into this mess,” the fallout from the kiss between Harry and Emily seems to be far from over.
