Ariana Madix Moves Out of Her And Tom Sandoval’s Home After His Affair
Ariana Madix is finally out of the house that she bought with her ex-boyfriend Tom Sandoval.
The duo broke up after Sandoval’s affair with Raquel Leviss was exposed in the season 10 finale of Vanderpump Rules.
The 37-year-old star shared a video on Instagram that showed stacked boxes in the driveway of her old residence. The story was posted on May 22 and was captioned “Ready to dip out” along with a smirking emoji.
If you haven’t guessed why the phrasing “dip out” yet, it is a sarcastic reference to a comment made by Tom on an episode of Vanderpump Rules. In the episode, Tom misuses the term “dipped out” recalling how Raquel had spent the night at their home.
Ariana can be seen accompanied by friends who helped her pack her belongings and load them into a U-Haul truck. Ariana was also seen smiling as she hopped into a nearby vehicle. The vehicle dropped off Ariana at her new home, around 15 mins away from her old one.
Regarding the move, a source told Page Six that the actress is relieved to move out of the house and ready to begin a new chapter in her life.
The couple had been in a relationship for around a decade now and bought the property in 2019 for over $2 million. However, after the affair, Ariana could not wait to sell the house and move on.
In a May 17 interview with Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live, Ariana told Cohen, “I want my money out of that house as quickly as possible.” She added, “I want to move on.”
She talked about how while they were living under the same roof, they did not have any contact whatsoever. The exes only talked through assistants and go-betweens.
Madix learned about the affair on March 1 when Sandval’s phone fell out of his pocket and Madix saw a sexually explicit video of the retired beauty queen. She quit immediately after but the producers filmed the aftermath and turned it into a spicy drama.
In the season 10 finale that aired on May 17, Ariana tells her castmates, “I found a screen recording of them on FaceTime. It was literally from the night before.”
And while there is news that Raquel reportedly dumped Tom, the actress told Andy Cohen in the interview that she did not believe it. She claimed that Raquel was sending letters to her house just a few days ago.
Ariana explained that while she did not open it, she recognized Raquel’s handwriting and that it was addressed to Tom. She said she bought the mail in, saw the letter, then put it on the table and walked away.
Both Tom and Raquel have apologized to Ariana through social media. Tom accepted that he was selfish and reckless and had hurt someone he loved. He also stated that his biggest regret was dishonoring Ariana and disappointing so many people.
Raquel, too, gave a statement in which she recognizes that she is not a victim. She claimed to deeply regret hurting Ariana.
