Meghan Trainor And Daryl Sabara Celebrate The Arrival Of Their Second Baby Boy, Barry Bruce Trainor
Congratulations is in the air as Meghan Trainor and Daryl Sabara joyfully announce the expansion of their family. The singer and actor welcomed their second bundle of joy on July 1st, according to an Instagram post in which Meghan and the Spy Kids actor shared the exciting news.
In the post, the All About The Bass hitmaker showcased adorable pictures of their newborn son, who was named Barry Bruce Trainor.
“On July 1st (our 7 year anniversary of our first date) we welcomed Barry Bruce Trainor into the world 🐻💙,” she wrote, adding, “He was a big boy at 8lbs 7oz…and sideways (transverse), but we had an amazing, successful c-section, and I finally got my skin to skin time!”.
Meghan went on to express her gratitude for the dedicated medical professionals who ensured a safe and successful delivery. She specifically thanked the doctors and nurses for their exceptional care during her cesarean section.
“Thank you to all of the incredible doctors and nurses who took such great care of us ❤️.” she stated.
The birth of Barry Bruce Trainor holds a special significance as it marks Meghan and Daryl’s seven-year anniversary since their first date.
Unsurprisingly, the couple’s announcement received an outpouring of heartfelt congratulations from fans and friends alike. Actress Chrissy Metz chimed in with a “Awww, Congratulations!” while Mandy Moore welcomed the newest addition to the Trainor-Sabara family, writing, “Go Mama!! And welcome to the party, Barry!! What a lucky dude!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️.”
Barry Bruce Trainor will be joining his enthusiastic older brother, Riley, who is eagerly looking forward to his new role as a big brother, according to his dad. In a recent interview, Daryl shared his delight in watching Riley’s anticipation grow as he eagerly points to Meghan’s growing belly and affectionately calls it “baby.”
“He definitely loves pointing to Meghan’s stomach and saying ‘baby’ and kissing her belly. So it’s definitely a lot cuter than we ever thought,” he shared with PEOPLE.
According to Daryl, the two-year-old is “so ready to have a permanent friend.”
In a previous interview from April, Meghan and Daryl shared their excitement about expanding their family. They wholeheartedly believe that each child brings out a new and exceptional version of themselves.
Trainor humorously exclaimed that she’s the best version of herself, and each additional child would only enhance her badass persona. Looks like they may even be considering more children in the future, as Trainor playfully mentioned needing at least four!
