Spider-Man Star Tom Holland Opens Up About Love For Zendaya
Tom Holland recently opened up about his deep love for fellow actress Zendaya. In a candid interview on the Wondery podcast Smartless, the Spiderman star shared the secret behind their successful relationship – a genuine understanding of one another.
Expressing his gratitude for having the actress and singer in his life, Tom remarked, “I’m lucky that I have someone like Zendaya who understands the unique challenges of our industry. It’s interesting being in a romantic relationship with someone who is in the same boat as you.”
Holland emphasized the value of sharing experiences with a partner who can relate, describing it as “worth its weight in gold.”
In an interview last month with BuzzFeed, Tom playfully joked about his lack of charisma, stating that it no longer mattered to him now that he has found happiness in his relationship. “I’m happy and in love, so I’ve got no need for ‘rizz’,” he quipped.
Addressing his supposed secret to charisma, the actor humorously admitted, “I need you to fall in love with me, really, for it to work. So, long game. Probably making a movie with each other — it definitely helps when the characters are falling in love with one another; you can sort of blur the lines a little bit.”
During the interview, Tomalso disclosed that Zendaya was actually his childhood celebrity crush, demonstrating the depth of their connection. When quizzed on the matter, he answered, “Zendaya. Easily.”
When it comes to their personal lives, the couple highly values privacy. In a recent cover story for The Hollywood Reporter, Tom revealed that he and the Euphoria star prefer to keep their relationship sacred and shielded from the public eye. He emphasized that they view their bond as something deeply personal, unrelated to their careers.
“Our relationship is something that we are incredibly protective of and we want to keep as sacred as possible. We don’t think that we owe it to anyone, it’s our thing, and it has nothing to do with our careers,” he stated.
Today, Zendaya not only holds the title of Tom’s girlfriend but also his favorite meme partner. The actor gushed about the abundance of hilarious content she sends him. “She sends me too much, it’s like, I can’t keep up. I delete my Instagram for days at a time. I download it to post and then I have to check my messages, and I’ll have hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of things from her,” he revealed.
