Ariana Grande And Dalton Gomez Call It Quits After Two Years Of Marriage

In a surprising turn of events, Ariana Grande and luxury real estate agent Dalton Gomez have decided to part ways. The couple, who tied the knot in May 2021 in a beautiful ceremony, quietly separated earlier this year, but they remain on amicable terms as they work on maintaining a friendship, according to a source close to the situation.

News of their split was first reported by TMZ, and fans were quick to notice that the singer was recently seen in London without her engagement ring and wedding band while attending the Wimbledon tennis tournament. However, this isn’t the first time she has been spotted without her ring, as she previously addressed rumors by explaining that it was being cleaned in a TikTok video last August.

“I’m just not wearing my wedding ring, it’s getting cleaned. I’m not getting a divorce before you start, don’t,” she said then.

The couple seemed to have a strong bond, often expressing their love for each other on social media. In May, Ariana took to Instagram to celebrate their second anniversary. She posted a picture adding a “2” representing their years of marriage, along with the phrase “3.5 together” symbolizing their time as a couple. She captioned it with “I love him so,” showcasing their deep affection.

Similarly, Dalton shared loving photos on Valentine’s Day earlier this year, with Ariana reposting them on her own account. In a public display of affection that demonstrated their strong connection and commitment to each other, Dalton wrote, “My forever valentine,” while Ariana wrote “I love you” on her reshare.

Sources close to the couple have described them as a perfect match. Dalton, despite the Seven Position singer’s celebrity status, has always been down-to-earth and supportive. His grounded nature and maturity have provided stability in their relationship, according to source who said, “Dalton’s entirely unfazed by the scope of her celebrity and is very grounding for her. He’s young but mature and knows what he wants out of life.”

The couple got married after announcing their engagement in December 2020, eleven months  after they started dating. They tied the knot in an intimate wedding ceremony at their home in Montecito, California, with fewer than 20 guests in attendance. 

Speaking of the mood at the wedding, a PEOPLE source said, “The room was so happy and full of love. The couple and both families couldn’t be happier.”
