Gisele Bündchen Celebrating Birthday With Family In Brazil, Keeping It Low-Key

Gisele Bündchen is taking a low-key approach to her birthday celebrations this year, according to a source close to her. As she turns 43 on Wednesday, she plans to spend time in Brazil with her twin sister, Patricia, and the rest of her family.

The insider revealed that Gisele will be visiting Brazil a few times this summer, and her mother’s birthday falls on Sunday, allowing them to rejoice in all the festivities together. “She’s going to Brazil a couple times this summer. Her mom’s birthday is on Sunday too, so they’ll celebrate all the festivities together,” the source stated.

Gisele has shown time and time again that she is a family person. Just last month, she became emotional during a VTEX event in São Paulo, Brazil, when reminiscing about her early career and hometown. A PEOPLE source explained how she teared up on stage, as leaving her family and sisters at the tender age of 14 to embark on a new life and career was an emotional journey. 

“She still gets emotional when she thinks about leaving her family and her sisters. She was only 14 years old and she went off to start a new life, a new career. She left everything she knew behind,” the source revealed.

During the event, Gisele expressed her desire to leave a better world for her children and make her parents proud. In an inspiring message to the audience, she shared, “You can do anything if you believe in yourself and your dreams.” 

The supermodel further emphasized that she is no different from anyone else and credited her success to her unwavering belief and determination. “”Everything is possible when we believe, and I am no different from you. I am simply a person who believed,” she stated.

While Gisele was in Brazil in June, she delighted her Instagram followers with a slideshow of photos capturing moments of her family vacation with her children. In one heartwarming snapshot, Gisele and her 10-year-old daughter Vivian were singing karaoke together, creating lasting memories. In another, her son Benjamin, aged 13, shared an affectionate hug with a family member. 

The model also shared a charming family group picture and a shot of Benjamin enjoying a bike ride outdoors. Her caption read, “Família ❤️ Family,” expressing the significance of family bonds in her life. 

Gisele shares her children with former NFL player, Tom Brady, whom she divorced from after a 13-year marriage. According to a PEOPLE source, she is not doing badly for herself.

Following Gisele’s remarkable appearance on the Met Gala red carpet in May, the source said, “She’s back to herself, she’s good, she’s happy, she’s doing lots of good things,” adding, “She’s really happy just enjoying her new chapter.”
