Britney Spears On the Road to Reconcile With Her Mom and Sister; Removes Nasty Content About Them From Her Book
Britney Spears has decided to remove all the nasty content from her book about her mother Lynne and her sister Jamie Lynn to make the reconciliation more sincere and genuine. All the negative content about her mother and sister has been edited out from The Women In Me, her tell-all memoir after she reconciled with her family.
The timing seems to be perfect because her book is not yet due to be released. A source close to Britney revealed that the pop star initially used her book as a platform for her to vent her anger about how her family treated her and how poorly they handled her 13-year conservatorship.
But in a surprising turn of events, Britney has decided to remove all the harsh sections about Lynne and Jamie Lynn. She seems to be doing this in the hopes of healing and mending ties with her 68-year-old mother and 32-year-old sister.
And to make sure that people don’t misunderstand, neither Lynne nor Jamie Lynn asked Britney to take out the negative stuff written about them. It was all Britney’s decision to do so.
In November 2021, Britney’s conservatorship finally ended, and it meant that Jamie, her 71-year-old father, gave her complete control of her life. Close sources revealed that while writing her memoir, Britney was overwhelmed with negativity and resentment about how her family acted and handled the situation.
According to the insider, “When the book was written, Britney did not have contact with Lynne and Jamie Lynn. She was angry, desperate for answers, and had just come out of 13 years of hell. Jamie did not understand why her family didn’t save her.”
Now, however, Britney is moving toward the road to healing, and her relationship with her sister is the best that they’ve had. It was reported that Britney and her younger sister also made a pact that they would never again bash one another publicly as they did before.
Another source shared, “Britney and Jamie made a pact not to throw each other under the bus and keep everything family related within their three-woman family.” It was also shared that only one book would be released, and no other books moving forward will be published.
This is about Jamie Lynn’s book Things I Should Have Said in which Britney’s younger sister released some scathing accusations against the Princess of Pop.
It appears that everything is going well with the sisters now, because just last week, Jamie Lynn was heard gushing about her sister after they reconciled a few weeks back on the set of her Zoey 102 reboot show.
Jamie Lynn was asked how her relationship with her sister is going, and she answered, “I have nothing but absolute love for every single one of my family members. If I learned anything from last year, being so open and feeling like I had to defend myself sometimes, I don’t feel like there’s anything else I need to say.”
She also added that she learned that conversations among family are intended to be personal and that right now, she can focus on her girls, her husband, and her work.
