After Announcing the Divorce: Britney Hires More Help and Details About Their Rocky Relationship
According to information from TMZ, pop princess Britney Spears recently hired two new members to be part of her staff.
The news outlet revealed that the 41-year-old singer has been getting close to one of her former housekeepers. One of her new hires comes with a medical background. Their primary responsibility is to ensure Britney’s overall health and that the Grammy nominee takes her medicine.
The publication also shared that Britney is receiving additional help from her attorney Matthew Rosengart and her manager Cade Hudson. Both are helping Britney cope and keep busy amid divorce proceedings with her ex-husband Sam Ashgari.
Britney is said to be working on her music while exploring other pursuits. It’s important that the singer be occupied at all times given that the Louisiana-bred artist allegedly doesn’t like to be alone.
This update comes after news that she cracked her head open on a coffee table while engaging in an explosive and heated fight with Sam in London just before the shocking news about their divorce was publicized.
Sam, who is also trying to establish a name in Hollywood, was married to Britney for six years. Before the divorce announcement, news about their marriage being on the rocks surfaced multiple times. Still, both were confident about where their relationship stood and denied having issues. When the news of their divorce finally broke, it became the start of an ugly and much-publicized battle.
In the documentary Britney Spears: Divorce & Despair that will be released this week on Fox network, TMZ founder Harvey Levin revealed that “She [Britney] and Sam were going at it in a hotel room, and it got so bad [that] she tripped and hit the coffee table, cracking her head open. She needed stitches.”
In the same documentary, Charles Latibeaudiere, an executive producer, claimed that Britney’s volatility became too much for Sam to bear, prompting him to end their relationship.
If you’ll recall, several news items surfaced in the past where Britney became physically violent with her husband. One time, Sam reportedly ended up with a black eye from one of their altercations.
Sam mentioned to some of his friends that his wife had attacked him and that there had been several similar incidents while they were married. When the news about their divorce was finally out in the open, Sam used his social media platform to air his feelings.
On Instagram, Sam wrote, “After six years of love and commitment to each other, my wife and I have decided to end our journey together. We will hold onto our love and respect for each other, and I always wish her the best.” He ended his post by writing, “S**t happens.”
He then requested privacy, although he knew it was a ridiculous request. Instead, he just asked for everyone to be thoughtful and kind.
Sam and Britney met in 2016 on the set of the singer’s “Slumber Party” music video. Though they have been together for seven years, the pair only married in 2022 once Britney was free from her conservatorship. They were only married for 14 months.
