Romance Rekindled! Maya Jama and Stormzy Give Their Relationship Another Go
Television presenter Maya Jama and rapper Stormzy were together for four years before they called it quits. During their relationship, Stormzy was very vocal about his love for Maya, declaring that he had never loved anyone like that before. Another four years later, it seems that the two have found their way back to each other. Maya Jama confirmed last Sunday that she is back with grime star Stormzy.
Love may indeed be sweeter the second time around as the two were seen walking around Hydra Island in Greece holding hands as they strolled and enjoyed each other’s company.
Maya James and Stormzy’s public outing in Greece is the first time they were snapped after their reconciliation. Based on their pictures, no further confirmation is needed that their relationship is back on.
The 29-year-old Love Island presenter, Maya, was casually dressed in a black bikini top paired with a billowing white skirt. She strolled with Stormzy, born Michael Omari Owuo Jr., as they headed to a jetty and boarded a small boat.
Reflecting the same chill vibe, the 30-year-old rapper was dressed in an all-white ensemble that consisted of a pair of shorts and a vest as he walked alongside his girlfriend across the Greek island.
Many are commending Stormzy’s mother, Abigail Owuo, for playing a significant role as a matchmaker in the couple’s reconciliation. Close friends have claimed that she was the one who motivated Stormzy to make it right with Maya.
According to a source quoted by The Sun, “Stormzy is open about wanting to settle down and have kids one day, and he knows Maya is “the one.”
The newly reunited couple is enjoying their vacation in Greece and staying at a luxurious villa as Stormzy’s late birthday present to Maya.
Speculations that the two are back together heightened a few weeks ago when Maya was seen at Stormzy’s All Points East show.

Rumors circulated that the break-up was due to Stormzy cheating. Though he’s consistently denied such speculations, he admitted having to learn hard lessons about his disrespectful behavior.
During one of his interviews with Louis Theroux, he admitted committing mistakes during their relationship but was proud that he has changed and grown since then.
In the interview series, Stormzy stated, “My break-up was probably the biggest catalyst for [my] growth as a man. It was like, ‘OK, you made a mistake, and you lost someone you loved, someone you cared for, and someone special to you.’ That’s probably the biggest loss a man can have, isn’t it? Away from someone passing away, that’s the biggest loss you can have.”
While separated, the rapper would once in a while speak about his feelings for his ex-girlfriend, mentioning that he still loves her, would like to marry her and make her the mother of his children.
