Just Friends and Nothing More: Leonardo DiCaprio and GiGi Hadid Have Fun
Hollywood A-list actor Leonardo DiCaprio and supermodel Gigi Hadid are reportedly having fun together and talking. Still, news recently surfaced that the two remain single.
Rumors of a romance between the two first surfaced a year ago in September 2022.
Leonardo has a long dating history of being in relationships with younger women below 25 but they don’t last very long. Leo has dated Gisele Bundchen, Bar Rafaeli, Blake Lively, Erin Heatherton, Toni Garrn, Kelly Rohrbach, and Nina Agdal—all before they reached 26 years old. It appears that 28-year-old Gigi has become extra special to the actor.
The pair has been seen hanging out multiple times. According to Us Weekly, “Leo and Gigi still talk on occasion, and they see each other fairly often because they travel in similar circles of friends. They respect each other and have fun when they’re together, but it’s not the situation Gigi would settle down for.”
Sources say that Gigi’s focus right now is on her career and daughter. She’s enjoying the single life and isn’t looking to tie the knot anytime soon. Gigi has a two-year-old daughter, Khai, with her previous partner, Zayn Malik, a previous One Direction member.
While one insider revealed that Leo is set on Gigi, the same source shared that the two usually go out with friends. You might recall that The Wolf of Wall Street actor was initially linked to Gigi several weeks after breaking up with Camila Morrone, his girlfriend of four years. The two went their separate ways after the model celebrated her 25th birthday.
In November, Gigi and Leo were seen having dinner at Cipriani while enjoying the Big Apple.
Many assumed that the two were officially dating, but in February this year, it was revealed that Leo is single. He wants to get rid of the hype that he only dates much younger women.
In March, Leo and Gigi were spotted at an Oscar party. Last May, both attended the Cannes Film Festival and were again seen at a Zero Bond party in New York.
By June, many were speculating that things were becoming serious between the two, especially after seeing Gigi spending time with the Titanic actor and his parents in London.
One source shared with Entertainment Tonight that the two spend time together so long as their schedule allows them to. The same source mentioned, “They both enjoy each other’s company and have fun together when their busy schedules permit. Yolanda and Bella know Gigi can make healthy decisions, and they support her; Gigi’s main priority is her baby girl.”
The two have insisted that they are just friends and have remained that way for the longest time. They expressed surprise that a man and a woman can’t go out as friends and that people will always find meaning behind their actions.
According to a source, Leo is after a mature relationship. He finds it ridiculous that he is automatically linked to young, beautiful women everywhere. Leo wants to ditch this reputation because it is starting to bother him.
