Taylor Swift Watches Football in Support of New Beau Travis Kelce
Taylor Swift watched her new boyfriend, Travis Kelce, as he played for the Kansas City Chiefs in a football game against the Chicago Bears last Sunday, September 24. The singer looked like she was having a grand time, especially when Travis’ touchdown helped his team win. The game was held at Arrowhead Stadium with a score of 41-10.
During Travis’ touchdown, the cameras all focused on him while Taylor was captured cheering her partner on as she shouted, “let’s f***ing go!”
The 33-year-old Grammy Awards winner was in the stands wearing the red and white colors of the Chiefs. She was sitting with Travis’ mom, Donna. On several occasions, the two ladies were seen laughing, joking, and having a good time.
Meanwhile, the Chiefs are savoring Taylor’s support for them. Their official X account even tweeted, “Welcome to Chiefs Kingdom, Taylor Swift.” They included a video of the hitmaker cheering for the Kansas team which was also the Super Bowl champions.
Taylor’s involvement with the NFL team is hugely due to her romantic involvement with Travis. As their relationship begins, Taylor seems keen on supporting her beau while enjoying a break from her tremendously successful Eras Tour.
The “Shake It Off” hitmaker enthusiastically cheered and clapped before the game started. She was seen with an array of emotions while watching the game, and at some point, she looked tense.
Recall that the All-Pro tight end revealed just last week that he wanted Taylor to watch him play over the weekend. During the Pat McAfee show, he mentioned, “It’s life, baby. I threw it out there; I threw the ball in her court.”
Travis shared that he talked to Taylor and said, “I’ve seen you rock the stage in Arrowhead; you might have to come see me rock the stage in Arrowhead and see which one’s a little more lit. We’ll see what happens in the near future.”
So far, The Chiefs’ standing is one loss and one win.
Before the start of the game, Travis received some criticism from his fans when he arrived wearing a blue and white outfit that made him look like he was painting his house before going to the game. He was also seen warming up with the rest of the team and talking with Patrick Mahomes, the team’s star player and quarterback.
Given that Travis mentioned that he invited Taylor to the game, the audience wondered if she would show up. There was even one Chiefs supporter who prepared a sign that asked, “Is Taylor here?”
And yes, Taylor did show up—much to the delight of everyone watching the game.
Rumors that Taylor and Travis have been hanging out started circulating earlier this month when Travis’ older brother, Jason Kelsce, who plays for the Philadelphia Eagles, revealed that he thinks the news is 100% true while guesting on the WIP Morning Show.
Jason stated, “I think things are going great, and I think it’s 100 percent true. I don’t know a lot about what’s happening in Travis’s love life. You know, his business is his business, and I try to stay out of that world.”
As long as the couple’s relationship is going strong, fans and supporters can hope to see Taylor in other NFL games this season.
