Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz Might Have a Reality Series on Netflix
Brooklyn Beckham and his wife, heiress Nicola Peltz, might have a new project up their sleeve. After the success of the documentary about Brooklyn’s dad, David Beckham, Netflix is allegedly eyeing the young couple for a reality series.
The 24-year-old aspiring chef and his 28-year-old socialite wife were seen last week supporting David and Victoria during the BECKHAM documentary premiere on October 3. The series is a tell-all show where the couple share glimpses of their early romance and marriage, family life, and even David’s football career.
According to the streaming service, “It features a mixture of never-before-seen personal archive footage from the last 40 years, candid current-day moments, and interviews with the family, friends, and footballing figures who have been part of his journey.”
Viewers received the 4-part, 4-hour Netflix series positively and commented on how beautiful their love story was. Following its success, Brooklyn and Nicola may follow in their footsteps by sharing their own love story.
One insider shared with The Mirror, “Brooklyn and Nicola feel passionately about showcasing their real relationship behind the headlines.” The same source clarified that Brooklyn and Nicola’s vision is to include their wider families while establishing their brand as a millennial version of Posh and Becks.
Right now, the young couple are exploring their options, and so far, the streaming giant has shown an interest in their concept.
Recall that during the premiere of David and Victoria’s new show, Nicola and Brooklyn looked very much in love and were constantly at each other’s side. They joined the rest of the Beckham children, 21-year-old Romeo, 18-year-old Cruz, and 12-year-old Harper in the show.
For the occasion, everyone was dressed at their best, with matriarch Victoria wearing a white blazer with a plunging neckline and elegant satin lapels which she paired with straight-leg pants.
Brooklyn and Nicola’s attendance during the premiere sent a clear message that the family is united despite news that Victoria and Nicola haven’t been getting along.
After the two women were pitted against each other, Brooklyn seems to have favored his wife’s family over his own since their marriage. The cold war between the two couples allegedly started when Victoria and Nicola had a fallout regarding the wedding gown she wore.
Nicola also accused her mother-of-law of stealing the limelight during her wedding. Since Victoria is a well-known designer, many assumed that her daughter-in-law would wear one of the wedding dresses she designed. Instead, Nicola donned a Valentino couture for the event.
Though Nicola clarified that her decision hadn’t been intended as a slight against her mother-in-law, the tension seemed to escalate quickly. During the reception, Brooklyn was photographed several times while spending time with Nicola and her father. Meanwhile, his time with the Beckhams appeared zero to minimal. Victoria hasn’t made any comments about the speculated fallout.
On top of these niggling issues, David and Victoria allegedly refused to cover the expenses of Brooklyn’s US green card. The most recent drama took place when Victoria snubbed the newlywed couple during her latest Paris Fashion Week show.
