Britney Spears Injured Her Arm and Leg While Dancing With Knives in New Video
Last Tuesday, Pop Princess Britney Spears was seen with a bandage on her arms and what looked to be cuts on her upper leg. This was on an Instagram clip she uploaded; a day later, she uploaded another clip where she was seen dancing with shocking props: butcher knives!
The 41-year-old Grammy-winning performer wore the same outfit when she was captured doing her dance: low-rise white swimsuit bottoms and an orange polka-dotted top. Britney’s dance moves were impressive as always, but again, many were alarmed and confused about why she had a butcher knife in each hand.
In the first video, which was recorded in Britney’s foyer in her Southern California home, she was doing a dizzying dance of improvised choreography, much to the delight of her 42.1 million social media followers.
But in the second clip, the Stronger hitmaker danced to Sadeness (Part 1) of the 1990 Enigma with a bandage on her wrist. Eagle-eyed followers reported that the upper front of her right leg also had a gash.
The Toxic singer captioned her post: “My “Pretty Woman” top … kinda cool after my briefing on polka dots!!!!”
The time between the two videos is unclear, but many speculated that it’s just within 24 hours.
When Britney uploaded the first clip, many fans wrote their concerns in the comment box, but Britney assured them by writing, “I started playing in the kitchen with knives today!!! Don’t worry, they are NOT real knives!!!”
The 90s pop icon has recently been active again on her Instagram account. On Tuesday night, she posted another dancing video. She wore long sleeves this time, so the wounds were concealed.
Sharing what’s going on, Britney mentioned in the caption that the living room lights gave her a terrible migraine and that she usually likes to tweak the lights where she’s staying. She also alluded that, recently, she has not been feeling too well.
Further into her caption, she wrote, “I realize I’ve lost a lot of weight, and my eyes aren’t as wide open!!! I feel weaker when I lose weight.”
With no mention at all of the video where she was dancing with knives, Britney continued, “I have incredibly gifted friends beside me every freakin’ day, but I’d be lying if I didn’t say to any bitch disrespecting me at any parties … I don’t forget!!!! Why???? Cause I know my worth, and learning to dance with fake knives at parties is a motherf***ing understatement !!!”
These latest videos of the hitmaker sparked concern from her followers, given that the past few months have not been easy for her. But many have also said that Britney and her association with knives is nothing new.
Recall that while talking to TMZ in May, Britney admitted being fascinated with knives. She also disclosed that she sleeps with one under her bed because she fears being re-institutionalized and being taken to a psych ward. This was a reference to the 13-year conservatorship that she endured, which ended in 2021.
