Paris Hilton Defends Baby Son After Trolls Mock the Size of Her Baby’s Head
Heiress and mom Paris Hilton is lashing out against online trolls who made fun of the size of her nine-month-old son’s large head. The 42-year-old reality star used her social media account to share her thoughts on X, formerly Twitter, warning bashers that targeting her son was unacceptable. Paris was highly triggered by the troll’s sick comments about how big Phoenix’s head was.
In her post, Paris defended herself for choosing to share Phoenix’s photos. From her point of view, people would judge her for not being a good mother if she didn’t share a few pictures of her son every once in a while. Paris understands that being a public figure means sharing her life—including her son—to the public.
Paris started her note by writing, “Living life in the spotlight, comments are inevitable, but targeting my child, or anyone else’s for that matter, is unacceptable. This hurts my heart more deeply than words can describe.” She then added a broken-hearted emoji after the text.
The socialite revealed that she tried to promote acceptance, respect, and love in hopes that followers and other users of the platform would reciprocate. Paris admitted that she can never have a win-win situation when it comes to the information that she shares or decides not to share about Phoenix.
With a tearful emoji, Paris continued, “If I don’t post my baby, people assume I’m not a great mother, and if I do post him, there are some people who are cruel and hateful.”
Paris describes her son as adorable, angelic, and perfectly healthy. She also shared her aspirations of being a proud working mother. She gushed, “I’ve dreamt of being a mom for as long as I can remember, and Phoenix is my world and has been the biggest blessing of my life.”
Further into the note, she wrote, “Every day with him is a reminder of what truly matters. It’s hard to fathom that there are people in the world who would target such innocence.”
To conclude her lengthy post, Paris posed a challenge and a call to action for people to treat one another with empathy and kindness.
Last Friday, Paris was caught off-guard by the nasty comments left on the photos she posted showing her son’s first trip to New York City. The comments section was flooded with cruel remarks criticizing the little boy who has yet to reach one year old. They didn’t stop at leaving rude comments in X as they also began publishing their criticisms on TikTok.
Although there were fans who came to Paris’ defense, the negativity was a little overwhelming, leading Paris to reply, “There are some sick people in this world. My angel is perfectly healthy. And yes, of course, he has been to a doctor; he just has a large brain.”
Phoenix Barron Hilton Reum was born on January 16 through surrogacy. Paris shares him with her husband Carter Reum, a venture capitalist, writer, and entrepreneur.
