Kim Kardashian Reveals North’s Entrepreneurial Spirit In Lemonade Business
North West, the 10-year-old daughter of Kim Kardashian, is making waves in the world of entrepreneurship, following in her famous mother’s footsteps. In an exclusive interview with GQ, Kim Kardashian shared some insights into her daughter’s unique business venture that has captured the attention of her friends and neighbors.
North’s entrepreneurial journey begins with a classic lemonade stand, but with a clever twist. According to her mum, she sets up shop on her neighborhood corner, equipped with a massive pitcher of lemonade, a wagon, and a comfortable table and chairs for customers. North even has fans to beat the summer heat as she dedicates hours to her business endeavor.
What sets North’s lemonade stand apart is her pricing strategy. For random passersby, a refreshing glass of lemonade costs a reasonable $2. However, if you’re a friend or acquaintance, be prepared to pay a premium. Kim reveals that her daughter has a knack for charging her acquaintances a whopping $20 per glass.
In Kim’s words, “If a random person stops, she will charge them only $2. If she knows you, she will fully scam you. I’ll get calls from my friends saying she charged them $20 for a lemonade. She’ll grab their $20 and say, ‘I don’t have any change.’”
This isn’t North’s first foray into the world of lemonade entrepreneurship. In 2021, she joined forces with her cousin Penelope Disick, daughter of Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick, to launch a lemonade stand. The enterprising duo made quite an impression on social media, offering their lemonade at a competitive price of $3 per glass.
During the interview, Kim also shared her commitment to providing her children, including North, with as normal a childhood as possible, despite their high-profile family. She emphasized the importance of living in a neighborhood where her kids can ride bikes to their cousins’ houses, fostering a sense of ordinary life amid all the fame.
“I understand that it is not a normal life. We’re never going to have a normal family life no matter what. As a parent, I want to protect them as much as I can,” she added.
As for her divorce from rapper Kanye West, with whom she shares her four kids, Kim emphasized the importance of ensuring her children feel loved and heard throughout the process. She highlighted the need for sensitivity, especially given that her kids are still in their formative years.
