Kelsea Ballerini And Chase Stokes Deepen Connection With Matching Tattoos
In a candid conversation on the Call Her Daddy podcast, Kelsea Ballerini, the talented country singer, shared some heartwarming details about her relationship with Chase Stokes. The most exciting revelation? They now share matching tattoos!
During her chat with podcast host Alex Cooper, Kelsea couldn’t help but spill the beans about this special connection. With a hint of humor, she quipped, “Well now I spilled it on here that we have matching tattoos, so we can’t break up.”
Curious, Cooper pressed further, prompting the Mountain With A View singer to confirm that they both sport “little Virgo tattoos.” The tattoos, symbolizing their shared zodiac sign, were inked just three weeks ago, according to her.
As the conversation flowed, Kelsea opened up about how their zodiac sign, Virgo, played a significant role in their relationship. She confessed that she used to resent her Virgo traits.
“I used to really resent my ‘Virgo-ness’ because, to me, it was like a control freak — just needing power in a lot of situations in relationships,” she shared.
However, with Chase, who is also a Virgo, has learned to embrace these traits, recognizing the value of effective communication, loyalty, and thoughtful planning in their bond.
“Just the need to communicate well and be loyal — and planning is not a bad thing when it’s like for the right things — all those things. It’s just like a thing that kind of defines us,” she shared.
The discussion delved deeper into their relationship, with the Peter Pan star reminiscing about their first in-person meeting. After weeks of texting and FaceTiming, their paths finally crossed in early January when she was in Los Angeles. She recalled the excitement and nervousness she felt before their encounter at a party.
As she explained, “So he came to this party that I was playing, and I had just gotten done playing. And I was… ‘Guys – I’m sweating just thinking about this. I thought I was gonna pass out,’” she shared of her nerves before meeting him for the first time.”
Describing that momentous meeting, she said, “You can have chemistry over the phone, but when you see each other, you’re like, what’s the height difference, are we… are you… I didn’t know what to do.” She recounted how Chase arrived in his Bronco, and the tension was palpable. However, their chemistry was undeniable, as he kissed her without a word, and he said to her, “Thank God you’re real.”
