Travis Kelce Thanks Girlfriend Taylor Swift on His Podcast: A Sweet Moment Indeed
Travis Kelce (34) took to his podcast, New Heights, to thank his girlfriend, Taylor Swift (33) for her support of his accomplishments in the NFL.
The Kansas City Chiefs player recently achieved a career milestone: he became the fastest tight end to reach 11,000 receiving yards—the only player in franchise history to do it. The team took to their official Instagram account to celebrate Kelce’s success, and fans couldn’t help but notice Taylor’s double tap on the image.
On the podcast, co-hosted by Kelce and his brother, Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce, the 34-year-old player thanked “Tay” for her subtle support, as the picture and her “like” made headlines.
He said, “Thanks, Tay. I appreciate you on the Chiefs page supporting.” After a bit of sports talk, he added, “We don’t need to say congrats every time I get to a whole number.”
When asked another question received from fans, things took a turn. Jason asked if Taylor has “always been a fan of tight end receiving yards?” Travis simply responded, “I’m not sure that’s a good question. Maybe. I don’t know. I don’t know if she’s a fan of tight ends or not. Have to ask her.”
The two brothers shared a hearty laugh before moving on to other topics. While the statement is not out of the ordinary, fans are excited about the relationship and didn’t miss his cute nickname for his girlfriend and popstar royalty, Taylor.
A few weeks ago, during her Eras Tour stop in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Taylor changed the lyrics to her hit song “Karma” to include a shoutout to her relationship with the NFL player.
Swift sang, “Karma is the guy on the Chiefs, coming straight home to me,” talking about how her boyfriend flew to support her during his team’s bye week. Kelce was seen enjoying the performance in one of the VIP tents with the singer’s dad, Scott Swift.
Many fans posted videos of Kelce dancing and making heart symbols with his hands. Cute!
But that’s not all; Swifties have been openly supporting the player at his games. Before a recent game, Kelce was seen smiling and waving at a fan holding a poster saying, “Karma is the guy on the Chiefs.”
The couple have been in a relationship for a few months now. Sources say, “The couple is planning to spend more time together. Taylor and Travis are on the same page and have a lot in common.”
They further added, “Both are extremely close to their families and share morals and views on a lot of things.”
There are also reports that Swift has moved in with Kelce in his $6 million Kansas City mansion for a few weeks, which the player purchased only a month ago. She is currently on break for touring, with the next stop in Tokyo, Japan, in February of next year.
The pair have given sneak peeks into their relationship during her tour and while out on a couple of dates in public. Fans cannot wait to see more from the two.
Is Travis Kelce Taylor Swift’s End Game? Only time will tell!
