Kourtney Kardashian Thinks Tristan Thompson Doesn’t Deserve Khloé
The Kardashian-Jenner clan is not new to scandals and affairs. In the most recent one, reports say that Tristan Thompson (32) has tried to make amends with the family after cheating on his on-and-off- partner and co-parent, Khloé Kardashian (39). While the rest of the family seemed ready to forgive him, including Khloé, older sister Kourtney (44) was not here for it.
Although reluctant in one of the recent episodes, Kourtney decided to chat with her sister’s NBA player ex. Kourtney and Tristan sat down together for the first time since the scandal to address his repeated infidelity and disrespect to Khloé.
“When we were in Palm Springs for Easter, Tristan kept referencing his life and his future with Khloé, and he texted me the second he left my house, asking to talk, and I was trying to eat my Cheetos in peace and didn’t want to go talk to him,” Kourtney said. “So Tristan and I really have not connected, and I just can’t fake it, so…”
Kourtney said that she would not judge Thompson for his actions and was no longer angry. But she wanted to understand “how you could do these things or how it got there,” and she was “curious [if he had any] remorse.”
Tristan was quick to respond. He admitted, “I was cheating just for an action, just cheating for a feeling. It really came down to not really knowing how to love because that’s the way I grew up.”
He continued, “With therapy, I realized that my childhood upbringing, what I saw from my dad, how he treated my mom. As a kid, when you see that, the trauma you have is because you can’t protect your mom cause you’re so young, cause your mom says it’s gonna be OK. You basically numb your emotions of being scared or feeling sad. It’s my defense mechanism.”
He also shared, “I’ve never seen a man treat a woman good, I’ve never seen a man not cheat on a woman, I’ve never seen a good husband. I made a mistake, multiple times, but did I ever really understand why I was making it?”
After a long chat about his childhood, Kourtney candidly responded, “I don’t think you deserve Khloé, or the actions that you’ve done are something she’s deserved.” The episode ended after this, leaving viewers somewhat satisfied with Kourtney’s authenticity but wondering what happened next.
Khloé and Tristan began dating in 2016. It’s been reported that he cheated on her on multiple occasions—once a few days before their daughter True’s birth and another time with Jordyn, Kylie Jenner’s BFF in 2019. Needless to say, Thompson and Khloé had a major falling out.
The two reconciled, separated multiple times between 2019 and 2022, and then had another baby via surrogacy in mid-2022. Then, Thompson was yet again caught cheating, and it was revealed that Tristan had fathered a child when he and Khloé were expecting their second child, Tatum.
Khloé officially ended their relationship and has said that she has no intention of getting back together.
While the family supports her decision, everyone—except Kourtney—seems to be pushing the ex-couple together. Who knows what the future will bring?
