This recognition comes after Spotify named Taylor as its top-streamed artist of 2023, with a staggering 26.1 billion global streams since January 1.

Nikki, who herself is a multiple-Grammy winner, took to X (formerly known as Twitter) to commend Taylor’s achievements. She left no room for doubt, emphatically stating, “The SAG[ITTARIUS] QUEEN TAYLOR DESERVES!!!! PERIOD!!!!!” 

This recognition comes as the Bad Blood singer is set to earn over $100 million in Spotify royalties this year, as confirmed by PEOPLE in early December.

What makes Taylor’s journey even more remarkable, according to Nikki, is her ability to take hiatuses, only to return with exceptional music that solidifies her unwavering fanbase. The Va Va Voom rapper noted, “She takes months & years off then comes back with great music & fans who’ll never leave her!!!! The END!!!!!!!”

In response to a fan’s inquiry about a potential collaboration between the two women, Nikki eagerly expressed her willingness to step into the recording studio with Taylor “in a heartbeat.”

Nicki also had reason to celebrate her own achievements, proudly announcing that her new album, Pink Friday 2, had broken records in vinyl sales for any female rap album in history. She attributed this success to the unexpected high demand for vinyl records, stating, “That means that retailers had no way of knowing that the vinyls would be in such high demand. Either way, now they do! That’s a marvelous thing!”
