50 Cent Says He Is Focusing On Abstinence And Empowerment In 2024
Renowned rapper 50 Cent, also known as Curtis Jackson, has announced his commitment to practicing abstinence in 2024. The In da Club hitmaker, aged 48, took to Instagram to share this decision with his followers, emphasizing his dedication to personal growth and empowerment.
In a series of Instagram photos, 50 Cent displayed his new lifestyle choices. In one image, he exudes confidence while cradling a cigar in a luxurious lounge, dressed in a stylish gray three-piece suit, complete with a striped tie, next to a glass of what appears to be aged liquor. In another snapshot, he confidently carries his cigar, casually draping his blazer over his shoulder, revealing a shiny ring and watch. Finally, he is seen sipping on his drink, back in his full suit, all the while exuding an air of sophistication.
But what prompted this sudden shift in 50 Cent’s lifestyle? In his caption, he revealed, “My new idea is so big, I don’t have time to be distracted I’m practicing abstinence, I have been meditating and focusing on my goals. I hope this New Year helps you excel to the next level.” He also tagged his liquor brands, @bransoncognac and @lecheminduroi.
In December, 50 Cent made headlines when it was announced that his production company, G-Unit Film & Television, would be releasing a documentary centered on Sean “Diddy” Combs and the sexual assault allegations he has faced. The Candy Shop rapper took to social media to announce this project after a fourth allegation of sexual assault against the I’ll Be Missing You artist surfaced.
In his Instagram post, 50 Cent reiterated that the proceeds from the forthcoming documentary would be dedicated to supporting victims of sexual abuse. He stated, “Proceeds from this Documentary will go to victims of Sexual Assault and Rape,” alongside a clip of the upcoming project.
The shared footage featured former Bad Boy Records rapper Mark Curry discussing the alleged encouragement of dangerous party scenarios by Diddy and his crew, including the alleged drugging of bottles of champagne that women would consume. According to Mark, the women were unaware that their drinks were spiked.
Representatives for 50 Cent and G-Unit Film and Television confirmed the development of the untitled ‘Diddy’ documentary. 50 Cent serves as the Executive Producer, and all proceeds received by G-Unit Film & Television will be directed towards supporting victims of sexual assault and rape.
