Celebrity couple Nick Viall and Natalie Joy are eagerly anticipating the arrival of their baby girl. In an exclusive conversation with PEOPLE, Viall, aged 43 and known for his time on The Bachelor, opened up about their journey and exciting plans for their growing family.
While discussing his collaboration with Mucinex to introduce Mucinex Kickstart, a powerful multi-symptom cold & flu relief with a morning jolt of instant cooling sensation, Nick shared some heartwarming details about their upcoming addition to the family. He expressed his enthusiasm for the name they have chosen for their daughter, keeping it under wraps for now.
“We haven’t shared it yet, but we do feel good about it,” he mentioned. “Her middle name is inspired by family, and her first name is a name that Natalie came up with, and I thought it was great, so we just kind of stuck with it.”
Nick also revealed that they are putting the final touches on their nursery, although he didn’t divulge specific details. “We’re ready when she’s ready,” he added, showing their readiness and excitement for their baby girl’s arrival.
As they count down the days until their daughter’s birth, Nick shared his anticipation for the unique moments he will share with her. “It is super exciting. Even if I’m not sleeping, I’m sure eventually I’ll want some sleep. But right now, I’m just excited about, you know, being a dad,” he stated, showing his eagerness to embrace fatherhood.
Reflecting on their pregnancy journey, the Viall Files host acknowledged the challenges of planning a wedding and preparing for a baby simultaneously. However, he emphasized the real hero in this journey. “Natalie, she’s the one who’s pregnant,” he acknowledged. “You know, she’s going through a lot of new firsts and experiences. So I feel very lucky to just have her by my side. I’m just trying to support her and make sure she’s feeling well.”
Their excitement and joy were shared with the world when they revealed the gender of their baby in a heartwarming video back in September. In the video, Nick pops a black balloon, releasing pink confetti and pink balloons, bringing happiness to both of them. Natalie captioned her post with, “Baby Viall is a….🤍,” indicating their joy and anticipation.
Adding a touch of humor, Nick playfully speculated about their future daughter’s first word, suggesting it might be “Boundaries.”
