Justin Timberlake Unveils Exciting World Tour After Album Title Release
Music sensation Justin Timberlake thrilled fans with a big announcement on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. The multi-talented artist, who recently dropped his new single Selfish and unveiled the title of his upcoming album, has officially declared that he is hitting the road with the brand-new “Forget Tomorrow World Tour.”
During a lively conversation with Jimmy, Justin shared the excitement of performing in his hometown of Memphis and his next gig, a free show at Irving Plaza in New York City.
With the audience on the edge of their seats, Jimmy asked if Justin had something special to announce. The Suit And Tie singer coyly responded, “No no no. I don’t have anything to announce. We’re announcing it,” holding up his upcoming album, titled Everything I Thought It Was.
Jimmy persisted, hinting at a surprise, saying, “No, no, no. How about a little something extra?”
Justin refused, prompting Jimmy to say, “I’m just saying there could be something that the audience might want to hear if you said the right thing. People are watching from home, they can go to justintimberlake.com and get something if they wanted something.”
“Is there something you’d like to announce?” the show host asked again, followed by a drum roll.
Timberlake feigned confusion, asking, “What is happening right now?”
When Jimmy showed him the back of a card, he said, “Oh that,” before finally announcing, “Oh yeah, I’m going on tour!” The audience burst into applause, and both Justin and Jimmy shared a laugh.
Jimmy disclosed that the tour is a “world tour” named “the Forget Tomorrow [World] Tour.” The tour will kick off on April 29, 2024, in Vancouver, Canada. Tickets will be available through his fan club on January 29, with Citi and Verizon presales on January 30, and general ticket sales beginning on February 2.
Sharing their behind-the-scenes camaraderie, Justin posted videos on Instagram of his time with Jimmy. The clips showcased their playful interactions and a delightful medley performance of Timberlake’s iconic hits with The Roots.
Fans can also expect the Mirrors hitmaker to grace the stage as a musical guest on Saturday Night Live this weekend, alongside host Dakota Johnson.
