Christine Quinn Seeks Restraining Order Amid Legal Drama With Husband Christian Richard
In a recent turn of events, Christine Quinn, known for her appearance on “Selling Sunset,” has taken legal action against her husband, Christian Richard. The move comes in the wake of escalating tensions, including Christian’s recent arrests related to alleged domestic disputes.
According to reports, the LAPD confirmed that Christian, whose legal last name is Dumontet, faced charges after an incident where he reportedly threw a bag containing a glass bottle at Christine, inadvertently striking their son. Subsequently, he was charged with assault with a “deadly weapon.”
Following this, Christian was arrested for a second time for allegedly violating an emergency protective order. These events have prompted Christine to file for a temporary restraining order, seeking to maintain a safe distance from her husband.
Despite filing in Texas, Christine asserts that the couple still shares a residence, urging for Christian to vacate the premises. She emphasizes the need for her child’s safety and requests full custody, expressing concerns about potential abduction due to Christian’s ties to France.
Moreover, Christine seeks financial support, requesting assistance with utilities, mortgage payments, and childcare expenses. She also aims to safeguard their two Yorkshire Terriers, Bubby and Teddy, from any potential harm.
“He has obtained a passport for our son alone, without me. He is a citizen of France, he and/or his family own property in France, and he has expressed a desire to move to France in the past,” she said.
Meanwhile, Christian’s whereabouts remain undisclosed, and attempts to reach him for comment have been fruitless. Sources suggest that Christine awaits a judicial ruling on her legal actions.
The couple’s relationship, which began in 2019, culminated in the birth of their son, Christian George Dumontet, in 2021. Despite their union being featured on Selling Sunset, Christian largely maintained a low profile until their joint venture into crypto real estate.
