Rihanna Reveals Are Boys Already Sharing Clothes
In a recent cover story for Interview Magazine, Rihanna opened up about her family life and future aspirations.
The 36-year-old singer revealed that her youngest son, Riot, at just 8 months old, is already wearing clothes originally belonging to his older brother, RZA, who is 1 year old. “Riot is actually in all of RZA’s 1-year-old clothes already. He’s only 6 months,” she shared, highlighting their early fashion camaraderie.
Rihanna shared insights into her approach to dressing her children, emphasizing organization and practicality. “They’re all sized and organized, and then whatever gets too small for RZA, I put into bins so that Riot can have them next,” she explained, demonstrating her meticulous planning.
Despite assumptions, the iconic singer and fashion mogul clarified that she is the primary stylist for her children, often dressing them in outfits inspired by her partner, A$AP Rocky.
“Everybody thinks Rocky dresses them because I dress them in Rocky outfits,” she shared.
She then delved into Rocky’s style, saying that she feels like “his assistant” sometimes when they go out because he will always dress up while she has to consider the kids in her outfit choices.
“It’s more like I spend my time getting the kids dressed to death, and then I’m like, ‘What’s the most comfortable outfit to wear around them?’ What’s not going to feel uncomfortable on their face or on their body or make me feel like I can’t hold them properly?’” the Lift Me Up singer stated.
Looking ahead, Rihanna expressed her desire to expand her family, expressing openness to having more children. When asked about her future family plans, she revealed, “As many as God wants me to have.”
Although she does not have a specific number of children she wants, she remains open to whatever blessings the future holds, stating, “I don’t know what God wants, but I would go for more than two.”
She then said that she would love to have a female child. She, however, does not see it as a must-have even though she wants it. In her words, “I would try for my girl. But of course if it’s another boy, it’s another boy.”
Rihanna and Rocky, who confirmed their relationship in November 2020, welcomed their first son, RZA, in May 2022, followed by Riot in August 2023.
