Kelly Ripa Said Naked Body Is Like A “Dunked Tea Bag”

Kelly Ripa and Demi Moore recently had a candid conversation about the effects of aging on the latest episode of Ripa’s Let’s Talk Off Camera podcast.
During the chat, Kelly, 53, spoke about her loose skin, saying, “I try never to turn around and look in the mirror — ever — If I’m naked.”
Demi, 61, chimed in with a laugh, saying, “It’s so rude.”
Kelly humorously described her feelings about loose skin, saying, “I’m like, ‘Is that a dunked teabag?’”
Demi jokingly replied, “Your body is ridiculous.”
Their banter continued with Kelly teasing, “You haven’t seen it naked,” to which Demi retorted, “Okay, next time I come over, we’re gonna have naked time.”
Earlier in the podcast, Kelly had complimented Demi’s body, expressing admiration for the actress’s confidence. Demi shared her struggle with loose skin, reflecting on her perspective shift as she’s aged.
“I think about all the things that I obsessed over when I was in my 20s and 30s, every flaw that I thought [I had] … Now I think, ‘God I’d love those to be my flaws,’” she stated.
As the conversation delved into the science of aging, both ladies discussed the natural changes in skin elasticity and moisture loss. Despite the humorous tone, they acknowledged the reality of aging and the impact it has on one’s body.
But amidst the laughter, Kelly and Demi highlighted the positives of being older women in today’s society.
“Women in their 50s and 60s and 70s are now keeping themselves — thanks to diet, exercise, fitness routines, modern medicine — women are much younger, they look younger, they feel younger, they have the vitality of a much younger person,” Kelly remarked.
With Demi agreeing and emphasizing the shift in societal perceptions of aging, Kelly concluded, “I mean, 20- and 30-year-olds are still beating the s—t out of themselves. Time hasn’t caught up with them yet.”
