Ciara Shares Postpartum Weight With Fans
Ciara, the “Goodies” singer, revealed her weight loss journey in a candid Instagram post after welcoming baby number 4 in December.
The 38-year-old star shared her current weight by posting a picture of her scale among a collection of photos featuring her friends and family on Thursday, April 25. The numbers were 181.4.
The post, which the “1, 2 Step” star captioned “Lil Dump … the last slide is life🫶🏻🍓”, gave audiences a glimpse of a water bottle with a time marker and motivational phrases. These will surely help her deal with her whirlwind schedule.
The carousel also featured pictures of the vocalist with Kendall Jenner as they hung out on a pickleball court. There were also a few behind-the-scenes looks at her recording studio as she cuddled with her adorable four-year-old baby girl Amora Princess.
Ciara shares Amora with Russell Wilson, the 35-year-old, newly-signed quarterback of the National Football League’s Pittsburgh Steelers. The two are also parents to daughter Sienna (pictured in the last slide), and 3-year-old son Win. The star is also mama to 9-year-old son Future Zahir whom she shares with her ex-fiance “Mask Off” rapper Future.
The post comes around two weeks after the “Level Up” singer shared a selfie while posing in a Mamba-inspired Nike sweatshirt as she announced her intention to lose weight.
Mind you, she’s not going in blind. She has a goal of losing 70 pounds.
“Trying to lose 70lbs post-baby, prepare for a show and tour while breastfeeding, and running my businesses. Shout out to all my mammas out there gettin in, I see you! ToughSh$t. #MambaMentality🐍,” the caption on her post reads.
While documenting her postpartum weight loss, the celebrity mama proudly showed off her post-pregnancy body in multiple social media posts.
In a picture shared on Jan 23, she can be seen with a full face beat, strutting around in a plunging black leather trench coat and matching black leather thigh-high boots. She added the caption to the photo, “I still got the juice boo, buy a sippie! 💅🏽.”
The Grammy winner also encouraged fans to “embrace every stage of life” with a video where she could be seen embracing her curves. The clip showed the multi-talented celebrity in a plunging maroon one-piece swimsuit, braids flying behind her as she walked on the beach. The footage, seemingly taken on vacation, was captured 2 months after she gave birth to her fourth child.
Wilson supported the lovely new mama by writing, “Beautiful Black Queen. I Love You.”
The hitmaker is gearing up for her “Out of This World – The Missy Elliott Experience” tour. She updated her followers with a post that had been captioned, “So excited to hit the road with Missy, Busta Rhymes, and Timbaland for OUT OF THIS WORLD Tour!!! Tickets out at 10AM PT @Ticketmaster! Let’s go!🔥😎🤘🏽.”
The 24-city trek kicks off on July 4 at Rogers Arena in Vancouver, British Columbia, giving her plenty of time to “Level Up.”
