Hailey Baldwin Bieber is giving fans a glimpse into her pregnancy journey, complete with adorable baby bump photos and candid updates on her symptoms. On Wednesday, June 12, the Rhode founder shared a selfie on her Instagram Stories, showcasing her baby bump while sitting in a wooden chair.
Hailey wore a green quarter-zip sweater and black shorts, her hair pulled back in an updo, as she made an unimpressed face for the camera. “So who was gonna tell me about the lower back pain?” she wrote, adding some pregnancy emojis.
Hailey and her husband, pop star Justin Bieber, 30, announced they were expecting their first child together on May 9. The couple made the sweet announcement in a joint Instagram post, sharing a video of their vow renewal ceremony. In the video, Hailey wore a stunning Saint Laurent by Anthony Vaccarello white lace dress and a lace headpiece that doubled as a veil.
Since then, the Biebers have been sharing their excitement with fans through various posts. On Friday, June 7, Hailey posted another mirror selfie on her Instagram Stories, this time wearing a slightly cropped, striped shirt that showed off her growing bump.
Following the big reveal, a representative for Hailey confirmed to PEOPLE that she is just over six months pregnant. A source close to the couple shared that the day they found out they were expecting was “just the best for them.”
The insider added, “Everyone is excited for them. They will be great parents, and Justin will be super involved. This will be the next important project for him. He’s so excited to raise his baby.”
The source also revealed that Hailey and Justin have already chosen a name for their baby and are starting to decorate the nursery. “They can’t wait to meet the baby,” the insider said, adding, “They have both been very emotional about it. They feel so blessed. They’ve also felt very protective of the baby from the moment they found out. They shared with family and close friends early on. It was very important for them to keep it quiet and just enjoy [it] for as long as possible before they publicly confirmed.”
Hailey and Justin’s love story began with a New York City courthouse ceremony on Sept. 13, 2018, followed by a second, more elaborate wedding in front of 154 guests in South Carolina on Sept. 30, 2019. Now, as they prepare to welcome their first child, the couple is cherishing every moment of this special journey together.
