Trevor Lawrence And Marissa Lawrence Announce Exciting Family News: A Baby Is Coming!
Trevor Lawrence’s home team is about to get a little bit bigger! The Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback, 24, and his wife, Marissa, also 24, are thrilled to announce they are expecting their first baby together.
The joyful news was shared on Instagram on Thursday, June 27. The couple posed at home, holding up a strip of sonogram photos and showing off Marissa’s baby bump. In the beautiful golden-hour snaps, Trevor is seen cradling his pregnant wife’s stomach while they both smile happily with their two dogs.
The caption in the post read, “A little Lawrence on the way 🤍.”
Trevor and Marissa’s love story began in high school in 2016. They got engaged in 2020 at Clemson University’s stadium, a place filled with memories of Trevor leading his college team to numerous victories. The couple tied the knot a year later in 2021.
Trevor’s career took off when he was selected by the Jacksonville Jaguars as the No. 1 pick in the first round of the 2021 NFL Draft.
Reflecting on Trevor’s rookie NFL season in January 2022, Marissa expressed her admiration for him and the challenges he faced during his first year in the league, writing, “What a year, babe!! Lots of highs and lows.”
“A lot of learning, a lot of growing, a lot of adversity and newness. But there was also a lot of good… good friendships, good memories,” she added.
“Goodness in the growth you’ve seen, the leadership you’ve learned deeper, and the [adversity] you’ve faced that made you stronger. You are and always will be the most amazing person I know. The way you handle things and do it with so much grace and love will always inspire me,” she continued.
Trevor has also been known to publicly extol his woman, as he said that he “can’t imagine” his life without her in a birthday post on November 10, 2023.
“Happy birthday to this beauty! Can’t imagine my life without you. The more I know you, the more I love you! You’re a gem. Thanks for all you do for myself and everyone in our life – you’re incredible. I love ya😘 @marissa_lawrence,” he wrote in the post.
