Blake Lively Teases Ryan Reynolds Over Adorable Dogpool Moment At London Premiere
Blake Lively just couldn’t resist sharing a cheeky moment involving her husband, Ryan Reynolds, and an adorable furry co-star! On July 11, the actress, 36, took to her Instagram Stories to repost a video of Ryan on stage with Dogpool — a dog named Peggy — at the Deadpool & Wolverine movie premiere in London earlier that day.
In the video, Ryan, 47, is seen holding Peggy, who stars as Dogpool in the upcoming film. Blake jokingly captioned the post, “SOS He’s trying to get me pregnant again,” adding a sticker of an alarm.
She humorously continued, “Put the dog that you find adorable in spite of societal k9 expectations away and take off the damn teal suit! Rude.”
Ryan and Blake, married since 2012, are parents to daughters – 9-year-old James, 7-year-old Inez, and 4-year-old Betty – and a fourth baby welcomed in 2023.
At the premiere, Ryan introduced Peggy to the audience alongside his co-star Hugh Jackman. Peggy, donned in her red Dogpool bodysuit, rested in the actor’s arms with her tongue adorably hanging out.
“Guys, this is Peggy,” Reynolds announced, adding, “AKA Mary Poppins, AKA Dogpool. Get a good look. Her nipples are the size of children’s fingers, she won ‘Ugliest Dog in Britain’ but we’re not telling her that.”
Planting a kiss on Peggy’s head, Ryan added, “Because she is a 10 in our hearts, isn’t she.”
He continued, “And that tongue by the way is real. And I have tasted it and I’m sorry about that. Yeah, she loves to lick, loves to just get right in there. She is really, truly amazing,” he said, even mentioning that Peggy “went through more training than Hugh Jackman” for the new Marvel movie.
In his introduction, Ryan added that “We love her very much.”
He also shared more moments from the premiere, including photos with Hugh, 55, and Peggy on the red carpet.
The actor’s Instagram post also showcased Peggy posing solo, as well as Ryan mingling with fans and co-star Emma Corrin.
Back in January, Peggy’s Dogpool Instagram page celebrated wrapping up her first movie. “That’s a wrap on my first movie! We worked our pants off but it was worth it. Everyone on set was the utmost professional, especially Shawn Levy and Hugh Jackman,” the caption read, accompanied by a picture of Peggy in her red costume with closed eyes.
