The image, showing her meal with a glass of champagne aboard a plane, included an engagement ring emoji over the champagne, raising questions about the couple’s relationship status.
Adding fuel to the fire, Johnny, 61, and Yulia were spotted together at a London heliport on the same day. This sighting led many to wonder if the Pirates of the Caribbean star had taken the next step in his relationship with the young model.
However, a source confirmed to PEOPLE that there is no engagement. The insider shared that Johnny and Yulia are keeping things “casual” and “see each other here and there.” They have reportedly not labeled their relationship as “boyfriend-girlfriend.”
On July 16, Yulia posted photos of herself with Johnson on Instagram, referring to him as “incredibly talented and inspiring.” These pictures, which have since been deleted, were obtained by the Daily Mail, further fueling rumors about their relationship.
This isn’t Johnny’s first high-profile romance. After his defamation trial with ex-wife Amber Heard in April 2022, he dated lawyer Joelle Rich, who represented him in a libel lawsuit in the U.K. That relationship, described as “not serious,” ended in November 2022.
