Reneé Rapp And Chance the Rapper Bring Down The House At Lollapalooza 2024
Lollapalooza 2024 was full of surprises, and Reneé Rapp delivered one of the biggest on August 2. The Tummy Hurts singer, 24, delighted the crowd at Chicago’s Grant Park by bringing out Chance the Rapper during her evening set. The hometown hero, 31, joined Reneé onstage to perform his 2016 hit No Problem, electrifying the audience.
At the end of her set, Reneé expressed her gratitude to Chance “for just being Chance the Rapper.”
She added with excitement, “I was geeked… I was so f—ing excited.”
Reneé shared her excitement on Instagram, posting, “lollapaloooooooooza chicago you were unreal and @chancetherapper you already know I love the hell out of you!!”
Reneé wasn’t the only star with surprises up her sleeve. On Thursday, Megan Thee Stallion, who collaborated with Reneé on Not My Fault, was stunned when Chicago Sky player Angel Reese came out to support her during her headlining set. The two shared a hug onstage before Megan performed Where Them Girls At.
Megan’s reaction was priceless, as she screamed, “What the f—! That really surprised me.”
Lollapalooza 2024 featured an incredible lineup, including headliners SZA, Hozier, Stray Kids, The Killers, Blink-182, Melanie Martinez, Future, and Metro Boomin. The festival also celebrated its new partnership with Hennessy, the official first Cognac partner, offering attendees a taste of luxury.
The festival wasn’t just about music; it was also a culinary delight. Many acts enjoyed dining at Chicago hotspots. Reneé was spotted at RPM Seafood with Remy Wolf, and Kesha was seen at Three Dots & a Dash.
One of the standout moments of the four-day event was the unprecedented turnout for rising pop star Chappell Roan. Over 80,000 people attended her mid-day set on Thursday, making it the biggest daytime set in Lollapalooza history.
