Pax Jolie-Pitt On The Mend After Serious E-Bike Accident: He Got “Very Lucky”
Pax Jolie-Pitt, the 20-year-old son of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, is on the road to recovery following a serious e-bike accident on July 29 in Los Angeles. A source told PEOPLE that Pax is “still recovering” after being released from an ICU ward.
“He’s uncomfortable and will need further treatments. Still, he was very lucky. It could have been much worse since he didn’t wear a helmet,” the source said.
The accident occurred on Los Feliz Boulevard, leaving Pax hospitalized with complex trauma. The source added, “Angie was shocked and worried when she got the call about the accident.”
She went on to note that her other five children are doing their best to support Pax during this difficult time.
Pax was released from the ICU on August 5 and has begun the long road to recovery and physical therapy. Both Pax and Jolie are deeply grateful for the quick, life-saving actions of first responders and the excellent medical care he received. Jolie remained by his side throughout his hospital stay, and Pax’s siblings — 22-year-old Maddox, 19-year-old Zahara, 18-year-old Shiloh, and 16-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne — have been visiting and helping out.
Recently, Pax and Maddox worked with their mother on her upcoming film Without Blood, which she directed. The movie is set to make its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival in September. Despite the challenging times, the family remains close-knit and supportive, focusing on Pax’s recovery and future.
